It's irrelevant in both spectrums. MLG isn't as big as it once was. I don't even know what they do anymore. They used to announce these huge tournament's with multiple games quarterly. Now I only here of an event once a year. Cod became their flagship game. I honestly don't follow Mlg any more so maybe I am spilling bs. MLG has its name going for it but that's it. The pro circuit is gone.

Does having total control make a huge difference? When I play online I like to just try to hold two bases and let the other team have one and just defend the hell out of the other two. Teammates are always trying to capture all three and it always end up with them having the upper hand. Since none of my friends play Halo 5 (they're the type that say Halo died at Halo 3) I always end up with random. Another question, why is the ranking system so jank? I can't get past silver 6 yet I get matched up against a lot of diamond and onyx players and a few champions here and there. Why not just give me the diamond rank if I'm always getting matched up with them. I do pretty good usually, when I match up with good teammates.

The teams below CLG need to be more consistent. Like sure RNG came back and it was crazy, but they'll get steaked the very next match. My point is that the other teams need to be going off all the time the way CLG does. I have a good feeling about Renegades in the pro league.

The thing is CLG individually are outstanding players so even on their bad days all it takes is 1 or 2 of them to go off to carry the team to a win especially when you're carrying players as great as those 4. Honestly RNG and the Denial team at HCS worlds are the only team that have looked able to match CLG properly. RNG unfortunately have one side that goes off and can sweep EG 3 or 4-0 or the other side that gets reverse swept 4-3 by Allegiance no in between. the one that goes off showed up at the preview pro league tournament and were unlucky to lose to CLG 4-2. Their matchup with CLG at the pro league will be interesting to see tho would've been better if RNG didn't lose to nv 😒

ya like 5+ years ago victory was killing it. I legit took time away from Halo to play CS just to get a different perspective of competitive play and I learned so much from playing that on a comp level that going back to Halo just irks me. If players like that just took some time out to understand different perspectives of competitive play and used it in other games it would make them so much better.halo you focus on spawn points, weapon times, spotting players, a little bit of time management and team coordination forsure. Playing a game like CS i think focuses you more on map movement, a lot more on how you manage your time, and a lot more setups. Yes maps are a lot bigger on CS compared to halo but I think every team has a very similar way they play the map.no team is aggressive on one side, or will try to trap an opponent. I guess it also comes down to the pace of play as well, halo is a back and forth grind which takes a lot of consistency and endurance, you can't really take it round by round and make in game changes. There really is no in game leadership to make quick audibles and switch up the play in halo.
