Like, I don't play assassins in general, but at least I can say that Hayabusa, Gusion, or even Hanzo and the others assassins look fun to play. But there's just something about Aamon that doesn't feel....very appealing to me.

He isn't broken? His ult can be immuned due to it's delayed cast and easy to guess attacking time. He only has a movement speed skill and can be slowed down by so many heroes.
