years back we got into a wide open surface bite in Neah bay...its a shame we didn't have that gear. One buddy grabbed his 6/7 weight lami fly rod and flipped a shrimp fly out...next thing you know we had 4 rods out trolling unweighted shrimp flies and limited in 20 minutes...crazy fun
