Here are three reasons why Diana (the Queen of Goosebumps) doesn't sound human. First, she is a contralto, which is the absolute rarest type of female voice. It allows her to sing very dramatic/powerful, very (I mean VERY) deep, very dark, very rich. Second, she has a spectacular larynx. She's been called the vocal Eighth Wonder of the World. Third, she is polyphonic, which means she can produce multiple harmonics within her voice at the same time. This is what allows her to sound like two people at once. (more below) When you add all that up you basically get a person who creates her own auto-tune. She doesn't need electronic auto-tune. She IS her own auto-tune. And the effect when you hear her is totally mind-blowing. It's like she's singing right through you, like a sword straight into your soul. Literally NOBODY else on the planet has a voice like hers. She's not one in a million, she's one in seven billion.

The voice type of Diana is a dramatic contralto and polyphonic voice as well that make her absolutely unique. Range of both singers are 5 octaves. Both are very patriotic and loved in Russia.

Dude's, when I first watched her sing this song I just had my speakers on as I usually do.. then when she turned into a monster powerhouse I had to turn it down.. I thought my speakers where going to explode. When your voice has so much power.. and you risk blowing out speakers.. you are DEFINITELY doing something right.. I still have goosebumps. I absolutely love Diana Ankudinova. Her voice is.. magic. Like.. it resonates deeper than a spiritual level. I have no idea what that even would mean.. but it's what I feel.

Please read up on her compelling and very difficult upbringing, and keep in mind here she is just 18- and was still singing phenomenally well when she was as young as 12. You ain't seen nothing yet! And you won’t bother with shaman, you haven’t touched the surface yet of this vocal prodigy, she can yodel, that technique is how she can transcend between her chest voice and her head voice, in fact she can do both at the same time being polyphonic, listen to her song (my love ) and hear how deep she is now, and yes you will be in a big shock when you first hear dimash, who can change his voice and dynamics several times through one song maybe start with ( stranger )

Great reaction! We were all like this when we first heard this. I really love Shaman’s voice but prefer Diana.(her name is pronounced De Anna An coo DEEN ova. Stress the DEEN). She’s been performing since age 5. She has a few originals that just came out “Revelation” and “Next to You”, which she wrote and composed. Please check her back story on Wikipedia. She’s truly a Phoenix rising from the ashes. She does have a cover channel with English subtitles on it for you to check out. She does play several instruments and sings in, I believe now 6 languages. I’ve been listening for years now and am amazed every time. “Wicked Game”(Chris Isaac cover). “Rechenka” an old Russian folk song and “Crow” on this show does show her polyphonic and subharmonic abilities. Попробуйте послушать 5 - 6 любых песен в исполнении Дианы Анкудиновой (можно прямо с этого же шоу) - и вы быстро поймёте, что сравнение с Дианой Анкудиновой непросто выдержать любому, сколь угодно талантливому артисту. Вряд ли вы сможете назвать артиста , способного исполнять на высоком уровне настолько разные песни, из диаметрально противоположных жанров, спетых в любой тесситуре, с любым эмоциональным наполнением, с совершенно разной энергетикой, абсолютно непохожие артистически. Меня, - как я со временем стал понимать, - она избавила от необходимости слушать многих других артистов в поисках разнообразия эстетических и эмоциональных впечатлений. Diana is a true contralto ( lowest female voice ) its even deeper and darker now and is also polyphonic my friend yes ( can sing two notes at the same time ) listen carefully near the end of this song, now listen to her beast song rechenka, leaves shaman way behind and she was only 14 when she did rechenka on the show ( you are super)

It's even more remarkable that she's barely 18 here. You can find some incredible performances by her such as Rechenka, which she did when she was 14. It's worth looking into her story, too. She had a tragic childhood and singing healed her. Have you discovered Dimash Kudaibergen yet? He's from Kazakhstan. Start with S.O.S. (not the 2021 version). He's unmatched.

Жизнь была с ней жестока и заставила стать взрослой, сильной. Есть её пение в детстве. Она с детства так поёт.
