The Combat Axe has been my go-to since I first started playing! Zealot especially tears whole hordes apart with it.

Really underestimated tbh. Everyone seems to gravitate towards the flashy swords but there's nothing quite like a good solid axe!

Combat axes are way better than the tactical axes. Although i prefer the swords in the game. However, the most funniest melee option is the Thunderhammer in my humble opinion. THONK. (YEETS Enemy 30 meters away)

Ye swords are awesome heavy sword mk vi its still my main weapon in darktide with BM And HT blessings it rocks , as for the thunder hammer its fun especially when mutant charges and you yeet him with the special attack 🤣😛

It depends. Tac axes undoubtedly have better dodge distance and hit far more frequently than combat axes. With combat axes too it's much more important to remember to block-push frequently because it's much easier for chaff to land hits in between swings than it is for them to land hits in between tac axe swings. While they do swing slower it's definitely undeniable they deal more damage per hit, a single horizontal swing can decapitate an entire group of enemies and a strikedown swing packs a solid punch against single targets. That said, I find they're pretty close in horde clearing capability when the tax axe has Bromentum with Headtaker/Decapitator equipped, mostly because the faster swing times mean the player can dish out comparable damage to the combat axe when the buffs from the above blessings are active. Preference really.

Light attacks do more damage than heavies against everything except unyielding and carapace btw. Not even more dps, more damage per hit. Very silly but yeah, light attack spam is basically all you do.

@@thebenvz. With the combat axes I'm trying a combination of light and heavy .When I'm playing with tac I mostly use light attacks because i do more dps per second i think you can check my previous video with my tac axe build if you want 👌
