Thank YOU for the reaction! Every theory in here is a real video, I think there are around 40 different theories references throughout the song! Yes, they did a theory on devising the theoretical Pokémon Markiplier would be most likely to 'smash' after Markiplier did a Pokémon 'Smash or Pass' stream. MatPat met the Pope as part of an event where the Pope met with a lot of youth 'culture leaders', most of whom were content creators. Everyone there presented the Pope with a gift relevant to their fields and MatPat presented the pope with a copy of Undertale for its pacifistic messaging. He got a lot of flack for it before making his reasons clear and 'give it to the pope' is a bit of a Game Theory meme now. If memory serves, Sans' theme, Megalovania, was played by an orchestra at a Vatican event later and the Pope seemed to recognise and enjoy it, suggesting he did actually play the game! @@Insaneian

The Diet coke line was the fact that matpat has an unhealthy obsession with diet coke he mentions it in many videos. Also the markiplier one was after he smash or pass video on all the pokemon game theory tried combining his most smashed pokemons to create the perfect one and mark reacted to it by just saying 'pass'. the grocery store and hamburger lines were from food theory, first was how long could you survive on the food in a grocery store with no power, and the second was the best order of items on a hamburger. The pope line was when matpat met the pope he gave him a copy of undertale a symbolic gift about a game that you can choose peace in to win.

The actual explanation he gave for it was pretty solid TBH. He said that Undertale is a game about diplomatic conflict resolution and compassion which he thought was both an important lesson and in keeping with the current Pope's less regressive policies.

The ScottsGames teaser line is in reference to the website where Five Nights at Freddy's teasers were posted, so you got that right. But the line about them being brightened is a reference to the common trend of FNAF teasers needing to be brightened to reveal a spooky secret or lore clue in the background. Also, the FNAF Box is a lingering mystery from back in FNAF 4. It is literally just a locked chest that appears out of nowhere in a black void, and when you try opening it the text "Perhaps some things are beat left forgotten, for now" appears. It has been around 8 years and we aren't certain what was in that box. Also also clap and a half is a running bit from GTLive, the Game Theory channel that's used for reactions and actually playing games.

The dog that comes right after is the Killer Suit from “Duck Hunt VR”, which MatPat made A BUNCH of theories on. Fun Fact! Stupendium has actually hidden some codes in the video! 24:33 This One is on Wall-E, yes, and it’s about how dead people are being remade into the slush that the living drink, as no farms are ever seen on the Axiom. 27:17 The reason why MatPat and somebody else (not sure who) are laughing in the bottom right are because of the MEAT SNACKES from the analog horror “Vita Carnis”. 29:32 And to come full circle, that’s the first Game Theory Title Card Man, games just wouldn’t be the same without us theorists, eh? I Think the new facet is called Style Theory, I might be wrong. Let's get into this awesome tune together. Stupes' laugh is my absolute favorite part. The Diet Coke mention comes from MatPat's meme-y addiction to it. There's a fun Food Theory where he tries to replace it with something he finds just as delicious, but better on his internal systems and wallet. The dogs inside the TV is from an amazing VR game called Duck Season, that seems inspired by Duck Hunt, the classic shooting game from way back when. The dog's lore in Duck Season goes much deeper, and (Spoiler ahead, ahoy!) goes full surreal horror on us. MatPat went to meet the Pope, representing gamers and KZbinrs, and actually gave him a copy of Undertale. He felt so strongly about its message of Mercy, and how your choices can completely change a game's story. So many people shredded him online over it, but the other gifts given to the Pope that day included a selfish plug or were just plain inappropriate. Food Theory did cover how to stack the best burger (not Burger Time-related), it was a lot of fun to watch. There was also a time when he and his wife made dinner and machine-dried their laundry at the same time, with the same appliance.

The chicken nuggets was from a puzzle game called "kindergarten". Marionettes are also from FNAF. Matpat did a theory on the power washing simulator game claiming it was set near a volcano or something. During the fan art they had a glitchy version of the game theory intro playing in the background. In case you were unaware a clap and a half is something Matpat does, mostly on his gt live channel. The pope line was also because Matpat met the pope and gave him a copy of undertale.

You asked if there's a "Baby Shark" theory & as Mat Pat is the parent of a young child, a demographic for whom the song was inescapable a few years back, there indeed IS a "Baby Shark vs. Real Sharks Parenting Practices" video on Film Theory. Having to absorb LOADS of entertainment directed at his young child has inspired a few theories. (Spoiler: Sharks don't actually raise or associate with their young, nor do they mate for life.) With Theories going back to 2009, with contributions from multiple hosts & spreading out to multiple channels, rest assured NOTHING was simply made up for the video, EVERYTHING is a reference to an actual video on one of the Theory channels. ScottGames was the original FNaF website before it became a AAA property. Scott Cawthon was the original creator, and between FNaF 1, 2, 3, 4, World, Sister location, and Pizza Simulator (and maybe Ultimate Custom Night but idk about that for sure) he made teasers that he changed, and the pictures often we supposed to be brightened up to see hidden details, and some had hidden code in the website people could check for lore hints. Since he made most early FNaF games in only a few months each time (often releasing the games earlier than expected), there was a time where the fans always had news for the series almost daily sometimes.

As quite a big game/film/food theory and GTLive fan. I can confirm that everything you hear is a theory. Every word, image and symbol in the background and foreground has some kind of meaning or nostalgia. Nothing is added just because. And that honestly adds so much more to the production of it 😊 And the short clip of Ronnie at the end just hits really hard too. Genuinely as a fan this video was absolutely incredible and completely packed. Each second was amazing. And loved the review too. I did this myself just pausing and seeing everything I could too 😂 it's definitely worth it.

Not seeing anyone else saying it, so at 26:11, the theory was actually about the emoji for burgers. Specifically, the emoji for "burger" is actually different on different platforms and devices, so they did a Food Theory on the best order to stack burgers in, based on different emojis. And then, to get a bit more of a "professional" option, they also compared the emojis to Gordon Ramsey's stated order for stacking burgers.
