​@@porkeyminch8044there's a challenge mode that's designed to be treated as a kind of post game content. There's 4 challenge mode levels, 1 for each tank in the game. The goal is the same for each level, buying all 3 egg shards as fast as possible. The challenge however is that the game sets the prices to hyperinflation so the price of everything goes up from basic guppies to Ultravores and gun upgrades the longer you take. So you have to balance the gameplay of farming money, buying more fish and the inflating prices. This is coupled with more monster spawns where you deal with more and more monsters per round, I think it doubles every so often so you start with 1 or 2 then it can go up to like 8 at a time. Where Walter comes in is his fist not only knocks coins out of guppies or other fish but if you punch a pet, it can trigger their effects, primarily with the electric eel. The meta for completing these challenge runs is to buy a bunch of guppies when you have enough funds, punch tf outta the eel to activate the electricity and then collect all the diamonds so fast before prices climb. This can also be done for NG+ speedruns where you can use any set of 4 pets.

Thanks for checking out of the my most played "casual PC" game ever. During high school, I remember playing it and many more online Flash/Shockwave games in PopCap.com. GameHouse, Yahoo! and some CN/Disney/Nick.com games were part of that childhood too. One of them was Insaniqaurium, which as you said goes crazy out of nowhere. It eventually got a PC version here which you could play it for a limited time. It's like a demo, where you need a registration code in order to get it full. This version is really fun especially with the new creatures and pets. I usually use the new pets in the immediate level and see what combos with others they can work well. Challenge mode was my jam though and I think that is where I was legit able to earn a lot of shells. There are were also codes in order to unlock other content -- did you know if you name your normal fish in the Virtual Tank "Santa" it will look Santa colored and produce 20 Shells? This is such a fun game and I'm glad you featured it. There are other PC games now kinda forgotten like Diner Dash, Bookworm, Astro Pop, Collapse, which had good popularity until mobile games came along. That and the seeming decline of those companies later on (particularly PopCap who was bought by EA). Maybe you could try Bookworm Adventures some day.
