They have maturity and are a cohesive team this year. Colorado could win eight or nine games if things fall their way. No one ever told them they weren’t supposed to win. Dude... That nonsense needs to STOP! BYU is NOT as good as their record, Utah is not as bad as the loss last night. You keep saying stuff like that and our heads will be on a platter after we play Utah. The BYU offense has STILL got to prove they can be productive for an entire game. Baylor adjusted at halftime, and what did BYU do? NOTHING. I've NEVER understood running in the middle of the defense, ESPECIALLY on third and long. Defense and special teams have gotten the Cougars to where they are. We're lucky to be 5-0. After watching most of the games for BYU and Utah, Utah is STILL the better team. I can accept that, but can you? The Cougars have FAR exceeded anyone's expectations, but after the meltdown of last year, I'm not going to heap that much praise on them until the season's over. Now on the flip side I have wondered to their fans' heads if BYU were to win another championship before they do. Not saying it's going to happen, but boy would I enjoy seeing it.

BYU fan here. The Cougars are pretty good, yes. Better than any of us expected, yes. But I wouldn’t hang my hat on them winning the Big 12. I’ll just be happy if they make it to a decent bowl game. Ecstatic if they beat the Utes again (of course, always a given). Yes they beat Baylor. But a few more minutes on the clock and perhaps there’s a different outcome (I don’t know what happened in the last three quarters but it wasn’t the defense). I, like I think is the case with most other long-time Y fans, will be on pins and needles in pretty much every game, no matter how far ahead they get, because they do have a tendency to snatch defeat from the jaws of victory, especially when playing teams they’re favored against. Keep them underdogs! Always! Vegas, keep betting against them, it might be their best chance to do well this season. All that said, I’m proud of the Cougars this season. Kalani has done a great job turning around this team. I just wish their offense could get on track.

BYU fan here. BYU is not as good as there record would have you believe. Until the offense can step up and play consistently good for four quarters, I'm still not sold. And conversely, Utah is not as bad as ONE GAME made them look. There is still WAAAAAAAAAY too much football to be played to believe any of the things which are being said about any team in the country after yesterday's games. Folks just need to take a breath and realize that the season hasn't ended yet and there are plenty of games for Utah to win, and BYU to lose. You just need to look at last season for proof.

Drake, Kstate will lose 2 of 3 of those road games.....iowa State Farmagedon for sure and probably in two weeks in a Boulder.... They are not good when coming off of a bye week. And on the road in Morgantown is also a very tough place to play.......at least two will be losses 😔😔

I was a big fan of the american athletic conference and the big twelve. What I find confusing is the fact that cincinnati and houston had better teams when they were in the AAC. They had better talent and better coaching and were just better. This isn't about the schedule being so much harder. I mean, the schedule is harder, but the teams in the AAC now in the Big 12 were better when they were in the AAC. That wasn't supposed to happen. A case could be made for UCF being better, but I think their 2017 and 2018 teams were better than this current team. I wonder how long it will take for them to get better than they were in their old conference

Fire Aranda. 2:37 to go with both a running time clock AND :40 clock. Baylor runs 2 plays from the BYU 28, like they were in a panic. The result, 3rd and 7 from the 25 at the 2 min time out. BYU with one timeout, should have never had the ball. Take it at 2 min 1st and 10. Live or die there.

Still not totally convinced Retzlaff is the man lead BYU to a conference championship or the playoffs. Just seems like their offense barely does enough to win. I can definitely see a path to BYU being 7-5. Can also see them being a 1-2 loss team. They’ll likely fall somewhere in the middle with the outliers being losing 6-7 or somehow going undefeated. Always ready for disappointment with the cougs but still always hopeful.

Colorado is only going to get better this year. The biggest problem with rebuilding through the portal like Sanders does is that it takes time for a group of young men to get the chemistry of working together (and sometimes it never happens). The OL and DL were not meshing early on. Now they are clicking.

Utah's offense was terrible in the redzone and, the defense gave up too many crucial big plays at crucial times. Finally, I harken back to the absolutely stupid play by Cam Rising where he got injured- AGAIN! Why he didn't throw the ball away and allowed the defenders to close-in and push him into the coolers, all with the recognition of his injury history, still dumbfounds me. Now, because of his lack of foresight, Utah is back to waiting on him to get healthy- AGAIN! No guarantee that Utah beats Arizona with Cam but, they probably would hv a different game plan and would be more effective in the redzone. The team goals are still alive and well but, this loss definitely gives a sour taste!

There were times I thought Deion Sanders was to much. He's 57 now. In college he played Football, Baseball and ran Track. He would have fit in this year's BYU team. Colorado has a very intelligent head coach. I will never disrespect Deion Sanders's intelligence. I remember when BYU was a laughing stock under this coach. I remember when BYU was a laughing stock under Lavell Edwards. I knew we had to give Deion Sanders time.
