I am of the mind that the Bugmaster was once employed by Cat-Lon to create the Hivers since they lost the technology to create more skeletons. He was able to create the Hive Queens and the pheromone control sounds spot on. I think Cat-Lon betrayed him with the genocide of humans which drove the Bugmaster away which lead him to bring his spiders (prototype Hivers) with him. The cages are absolutely for Cat-Lon and his generals.

This is a side ive never heard of. But it actualy sounds good. Given the fact that the Bugmaster has a hatred towards the Second Empire.

Note the bugmaster is wanted for raiding, mass-murder, cannibalism, genocide. Its possible he sometimes leaves his "throne" and goes on a rampage in the south-west continent. The watchers rims filled with bounty hunters who tried to complete the bounty, its possible they stay there to try and limit the movements of the bugmaster.

I was always wondering, is it because the Bugmaster commited these crimes himself, or because of his Spiders? But non the less, it is a possibility, that he roams outside of his Tower to cause Havoc among the locals.

The curiosity of the Bugmaster is that he looks different every time you play. I mean, he is always a greenlander man, and his physical appearance is always one where he looks very muscular. His equipment is always the same too. But his face, beard, and hair, they are always randomized, he always looks different.

If the Bugmaster was indeed created by the Second Empire, it may hint that there were other Bugmasters. The one Bugmaster the players face simply happens to be the last one left. The other Bugmasters may had died out or/and created the Hives. Maybe Cat-Lion killed the other Bugmasters and "our" Bugmaster is trying to destroy Cat-Lion partly out of revenge.

@@patostrophia2948 each iteration of the map is ended on the existence of itself, which implies that new saves "recreate" the universe in which the game takes place. The characters themselves also show "some" type of personality. Considering the creator and the logic behind the "chaos" i don´t think that´s coincidental, it´s maybe just to show that each "playthrough" is a thing.

You see, the Bugmaster was originally an Ork from the 41M until he got hit by a Trukk and found himself isekai'd into the body of a weak humee. Teef are currency after all and fighting the strongest git in the whole Kenshi world would obviously be his ambition.

It is just a wild guess. These Lore videos are mostly Theory since we dont have Proof of much that we know. But i love to theorys about "what could be" :)

The -10 Rep comes from working together with the Shek. Since the Bugmaster is from the Spider faction, he isnt allied with them :)

Hey dude, great video, love kenshi and your work. Just one reccomendation, with videos of this type, having really good annunciation and intonation when you explain things can help a lot to draw in peoples attention. For example: In the first dialogue exchange between you and Slippin, you can clearly hear when slippin say's the sentence: "He can control spiders, yes. But there must be a reason for it". Ever individual word is almost broken up a little bit, he doesn't rush through the sentence, so the meaning is conveyed much more clearly. In Contrast, in the previous sentence when you say "how do you know" and "he-can-al-ready-control-freakin-spiders" all the words sound kinda connected and its not as clear what you're saying. Anwyay random youtube commenter strikes again.

First of, thank you! and i am glad you enjoy the content :) You are totaly right about this. Speech has always been something i struggle with. One of the Main reasons why i dislike my own voice haha. I guess what could realy help in that case, is that pronounce words realy slow and make sure i sound correct. Especally when it comes to these lore videos, it bums me out that my Speech isnt that good. But i wanna tell a story, so i need to use my voice :D You are the first to point this out, but i was wondering why there arent more comments like this around. Since i clearly can hear it, and so must other people. If you have any tipps that could help me with that please let me know :)

Hey no worries! I think a lot of people struggle with speech, but there's nothing wrong with your voice at all! I think the writing for your videos is fantastic and you're quite emotive. Its far harder to improve being creative than it is to work on presenting skills. I think the best tip i got for ya, as i mentioned, is to slow down what you're saying, which sometimes you do really well. For example at 5:55 your enunciation is amazing, you clearly pronounce all of the consonants and more of your natural expressiveness comes through in your voice. Where as in a lot of the rest of the video it seems as if you're rushing through sentences slightly, which can make it less clear to the listener. You look at guys like Vaatividya, who makes a living off lore videos. He's spent years working on it, but his key trait is he is clear, concise (not putting in too much unneccessary jargon) and well timed in what he's saying. The rest i think comes from his energy and enjoyment of the topic. Don't worry about how your voice sounds, it sounds great and having an accent doesn't change that. :D @patostrophia2948 @@patostrophia2948
