But you can delete it yourself if you honor to the agreement we made." If you do it you get an achievement but no sane person is going to risk the stability of their computer for a fucking achievement.

I love how naturally the logic flows of “the oldest file” being a windows file, which leads to this scenario, the best part is that if you let the card die, PO3 says “oh I don’t actually have permission to delete that file, so you go and delete it so that it’s fair” or something along those lines, which is hilarious

Yup yup. And even if it's not locked behind system or admin access, they *still* won't delete it. However, if you *do* pick a file, intentionally kill it, then send the file to the recycling bin, you actually get an achievement. It's great. XD

The game also creates a text file in the same location with the same name of the file you picked but with deleted at the end, the text in the file just continues to beg you to play fair and delete the file. also fun fact for those who don't know, you actually get a steam achievement for deleting the file that you lost.

That ending is the single biggest ending in this entire series. Mark accidentally solves the puzzle and then the game gives him back his first beloved card all the way back from phase one; the 25ATK 25HP superbuffed Ouroboros.

@@_Woody_ you know what, you're right, no other scribe has multihit as much as leshy. Po3 is the only other one and his archetype only has one multihit and it's pretty bad compared to some of the multihit cards leshy offered. Leshys archetype in act one also had the most variety of sigils and offered, in my opinion, the best gameplay of the 3 acts. His bosses were the strongest of the 3 acts without needed absolute bullshit skills like the bosses in act 2 and his final boss has the moon which smacks 4 times and sucks anything small. By far leshy was the best, his act is the most visually stunning and he's the best storyteller, dude striaght up a dnd dungeon master and somehow has better meta than the machine who's supposed to calculate the best strategies possible.

I just realized that there was a card in Leshy's original cabin at the beginning of the game called Kaycee that Mark got too!

And one of Grimora's Ghouls was named Kaycee Hobbes too! But one of the weird things (and this gets into the ARG of the game too) is that every time Kacyee's death is mentioned it's described differently or strangely. Her epitaph says she died by a falling piece of ice, but then says the defibrillator failed... a defibrillator would not save you from head trauma or hypothermia. Luke read her obituary online that said she died from "fire related complications" which is lawyer speak for "we want to say she died in a fire, but it's not that simple." Luke also says there's almost no other information and that "no one else was hurt" or something like that. But the fact that in the game she died by ICE is why P03 laughs when he says the bot-version of her needed some heat to melt the ice in the bot-necromancer section of this episode. It's his morbidly ironic sense of humor.

It's actually really weird when you think about it for a sec. It's not just that it never dies, but when you *go back to a new game* it is there, in what is essentially the past of the game, still powered up. It's even more perplexing when you consider that Leashy talked about other challengers and things when you first start the game and hit "continue", not to mention the game being in a state after he took over. I guess the implication is that no-one ever before got the Ouroboros killed.

Fun Fact: The game doesn't actually delete the file. If it did, the game wouldn't be allowed on steam. Instead it creates a .txt file in the same folder asking you to "honor your promise" and delete the file yourself in which you get an achievement, but it has to be done before the boss fight is over.

The Archivist can't destroy your file, but they put a text file saying, in essence, that they overestimated their power and ask you to be fair play and delete it for them. Actually putting a computer in danger without making it clear beforehand would also lead to a devs reputation suffering for it. The odds of a windows file being deleted are pretty low with tha taken into account. Mark knows what he's doing. He just plays dumb for the show.
