Not really. This one is actually great if you have Poisom the Sting in grave, as it continually nets you a search. 1 of this and 2 of Picofaleina for draw power is ideal imo

@@therapperbrazilian We are talking about Battlewasps. The deck that is supposed to OTK but struggles even doing that. This helps it set up in ways the other two insects dont. Fair enough, it may not be great, but when you are playing a bad deck, even the slightest bit of recursion this Power Ranger-looking mantis offers is welcome in comparison to a 500 attack boost you wont be able to make use of when you dont have the monsters to summon Hama

Because it says "this card" and not "Solar Flare Dragon", having 2 on your field means your opponeny cant attack either of them, as they count as two seperate entities on the field, rather than a common name. That is known as the Solar Flare Lock

Now I’m not saying you’d do this, but you could kaiju something, dump gokipole, gokipole effect pop kaiju, this pointed to the kaiju, so summon out your grave...uh...the resonance insect you used to search the kaiju, I guess? Take this with a grain of salt, though I did manage to pull off something similar when I was seeing what other insect support worked with battlewasps.

I mean... We got Kaijus, and we can choose where they get summoned to the opponents field. And since this is an Insect card, you can also do the "C" archtype, and you can choose where those get summoned to. The link arrow isn't _GAR BAUGE_ but it's still kinda bleh when compared to other, easier, monsters that can be summoned.

Kaiju Gada and Kumo are insects searchable via Resonance Insect, which you can decide the placement. So you can summon back Resonance insect and search another one, when the kaiju is destroyed.

Im a insect user and I can say this can and will be abused. How you may ask? Welp, Resonance insect is a lvl 4 that allows you pull a lvl 5 or higher insect from deck when sent from field to gy AND it also allows you to send a insect monster from your deck to gy when its banished. What you plan to do is pull Doom Dozer, from the link summon, play it and then back it up with gokipole which is lvl 3. From there, the play goes as follows. When gokipole dies you can send another insect monster from deck to gy, if it is a normal lvl 4 or lower one you can SS it to the field AND destroy another monster on field. All in all, if you had to give him a title, hed be the Face that calls out the shots but doesnt get his hands dirty. lol I like alot.

This thing feels like it should have been a link 1 instead. It's effect is somewhat interesting when going second (free Ss when you destroy an opponent's card), however it heavily relies on that weird link arrow to be pointing to something, otherwise it is a waste of resources.

You use the up-left arrow to point to your extra monster zone when you have the usual bottom-left/right arrow links. This is clearly NOT a starter card but rather an ending card to act as insurance. The down arrow is mainly for IF you make it to start but again this isn't a starter.

just when i was getting excited about insects maybe getting more support then just battlewasps, THIS THING tries to swagger in here. picofalena is more useful to insects on the average so far as i can tell, and it's even under greatfly for me. the link arrow isn't even the bother. it's the "banish when it leaves the field" clause that gets me. that's some major futureproofing.. i wanted more insect maindeck and especially extra deck, this isn't what i had in mind.

Why not play both this AND Picofalena? In Battlewasp, this combos great with Poison The Sting as it continually nets you a search. Plus Nest can end the battle phase to make sure dont have the revived Poison Simply removed. Yes, Nest is slow and bad... But so are battlewasps as a whole

SMH. It's generic and easy Extra Link potential without a downside, that prevents itself from being attacked. Isn't that a strong thing? Plus once you've taken both Extra monster zones, which its generic materials allow for you to do easily, you can get rid of it for whatever else.
