When I was pretty young I would shop with my Mom at the mall, she was in the constant conversation of who looked bad, words like "why would they leave the house with that outfit on and think they look good," or their hair that way? Back then I was even uncomfortable. She of course must have been exposed to the same conversation in her life. The conclusion I came too, that this was normal that every person around me was thinking and speaking the same way as my Mom spoke about others they were talking about me that way. Great Tapping session and I like your hair before and after your haircut. You can see more of your face. Thank you for the session and all your sessions my life is improving greatly and daily

my mother was and still is an appearance nitpicker (despite how much she had let herself go and was living thru me) but I set really firm boundaries a few years ago every time I found her making comments about my appearance, despite her calling me oversensitive, I held my ground and called her out on it until finally the behavior is now mostly extinguished. And now she is doing so much better incidentally 😂 and I feel I’ve kind of let myself go but I’m working on self love and various trauma recoveries from a shredded nervous system and know I’ll recup eventually and things will level out. And I’ll be able to accept how I look and show up in the world out of self love.

Wow, I didn't think many people went through the same thing as I did so it's so nice to read that I'm not alone in this. I've also started calling her out on it when she does comment and it feels very helpful. It's crazy how much those kind of words from people close to us can affect us that much! Sending everyone lots of love and light 💕✨

I've always been a judgmental person. I judge others fiercely (altough I'm polite enough to never say anything) because I judge myself fiercely. I'm almost thirty now and it's time to let this old habit go. Thank you Brad, you're doing a great service to the world 🌟

This one brought tears to my eyes. I have struggled with very severe body image issues almost my entire life, and have felt so much shame about being seen. Thank you for your compassion Brad. I love your channel :)

Brad, my therapist connected me with your channel..and i have become a believer. Life Changing. Thank you. My nearly 16 year old daughter came home from school distraught and fearful of a tough school challenge tonight and tomorrow...we tapped about Fear...she swam like a duck to it...when finished she bolted out of the room and right off to her studies to "Do what she could Do..." You are actually saving our lives...

I totally needed this one... I started this new job a week ago. And I feel I am finding myself more and more self conscious around some of my new colleagues that havent introduced themselves to me... thinking why? Why is it always up to me? And wondering if they've been judging me... as I have kinda been judging myself (and pretty harshly at that). Anyways this made me feel loads better, kinda lost me toward the end there Brad, as I was distracted. THANKYOU for all you do.

That was beautiful, and so are you. Thank you.. I have spent most of my life criticizing myself+ others, and have only recently practiced being kind to myself, which in turn has allowed me to forgive and be less judgemental of those around me. Your words are very powerful. They took me back to childhood when I was always the new kid and felt out of place. I wish there had been someone like you around when I was struggling as a child. I'm so glad you are helping others now. Again, thank you for helping me to accept myself. :-)

I'm not going to BS you, it's not the best cut I've seen on you so far, but it doesn't make you less of a person. You're a hero :). And the fact that you're very sensitive to this (and acutely aware of it) just goes to show how intelligent you are. Personal appearance is very important (especially for public figures and speakers). It's the first thing people notice and when something looks 'off' (as in; "imbalanced" it is visible, but it's also noticeable on an energetic level. The right haircut and the right attire makes us look and feel more balanced, more harmonious, and thus more at ease and at peace. And because of it, we feel (and exude) more confidence and we tend to do a better job altogether. Being aware of this (and being sensitive to this) is a form of intelligence. Despite all this, you're quite the man anyway. I am very grateful for all the videos, thank you for taking the time to guide us lovingly and patiently and helping us all heal and live a better life ♥

Huge request. Can you make a video on developing "Thick Skin" so others won't belittle you or call you verbal abusive names etc? That makes them selves feel better about them selves by putting you down etc? Thanks Brad. :3 would appreciate if you could. Mom keeps telling me to develop thick skin because I'm sick of being bullied etc. Even as an adult. It still sucks. Especially if no one doesn't want anything to do with you because your different. :( I think we all need that in our life right now TBH. If your reading this comment Brad I'd appreciate it if you could make one similar to this topic. :3

I didn’t even think about your hair until you said tragic and I was like what!? and then totally relate because people have always looked at me as crazy for so many things I’m insecure about and I look back in photos and go OMG I looked amazing whyyyy was I so insecure about that!? And then have a few minutes of grief for the blech energy realizing being self conscious held me back from the full joy of (fill in the blank), and send love to it, and thankfully now I can tap on it, and have all these amazing breakthroughs and hopefully finally experience some decent freedom from self loathing and dysphorias before I leave this earth plane 🙏💛🙏 thank you for all you do

Interestingly, I have been experiencing mysterious diffuse hair loss and thought it was from a medication or some other reason..and maybe it was in some part in the physical, but my guidance was that at the metaphysical level, it’s manifesting because of my recent reclusiveness and deep fears of being seen. So it will be interesting to see what happens with my hair after I dedicate the inner work to this. Will try to remember to report back.
