Happy Birthday Jen! I'm pretty sure this marks the 3rd year in a row that I've made a video for your birthday? And I've always been late!! YAY FOR CONSISTENCY!!
A Couple of things. I seriously tip my hat to all the people who make fake trailers. It's difficult. Not only do you have to come up with a storyline that will somewhat fit the source material, you also have to get multiple voice overs (which is a tedious task) AND try to find a way to make it look semi real. Holy crap this was a challenge. As research for this I watched multiple real Rom Com trailers, and a whole lotta fanmade ones. And the end result it... Well it's pretty ridiculous. I really wasn't trying to be serious at all, especially with the word bubbles.
I hope, if nothing else, you get a smile out of it. I couldn't stop laughing at the absurdity myself.

Even if there is no title, and it's never coming out, I simply love the trailer. Jeff and Annie is the only couple I actually ship in Community and it's been a while since the last time I've seen a fanvid of them so I'm really happy this one is my first. Your vids always impress the hell outta me. It's clear how much effort you put into the structure of them and this one is no different. It has a very official feel, with all the little visual cues and styles, as well as the immaculate editing of the soundtrack, coupled with the immaculate pacing - all of which is synonymous with trailers. I think what I like most about it, and where half the genius of the vid lies, is your diction... "and other stuff, duh doy, coming never, #pathological ." That's an awesome sense of humour you have there. That type of comedy - and using the intertitles in that comical, ironic fashion - is something I think really appeals to people who 'get' Community completely. *5 MeowMeowBeanz.*

So this comment almost made me cry. AND YOU GUYS!! I NEVER CRY... For realsies though... "It has a very official feel" - It seriously means a lot that you think that, because I never take myself seriously, and I couldn't stop laughing at the absurdity of this while I was making it. At the same time, I really did do a lot of research for it, so hearing that it shines through for someone else is awesome. "Immaculate editing of the soundtrack" - OMG THANK YOU X 1000000. Editing music is probably my favorite part of making any video, and this one was so much more difficult because of the all the voiceovers and the fact that I was using more than one song. So this really means a lot! "that's an awesome sense of humor you have there" - THIS!! THIS is the BEST compliment EVER!! I don't think I'm ever as funny as I'm trying to be. And I know some of things I find funny, aren't actually that funny to a lot of people. This comment has made my entire year. 5 MeowMeowBeenz to you!! I heart this so much...I especially love that you use mostly (if not completely) in context clips (as opposed to others that try to use stuff Jeff says to Britta, for example). The trailer feels like a real rom com trailer, so good job!
