Great, now let's try the same but with different images in different sections including portrait and landscape orientations.

Easy - just put the image into the header without text wrapping (in line with text). Then select right alignment for the header paragraph. If needed, adjust the header spacing from top.

@@LeonRennerSadly it doesn't always work, not in the document I had to work on anyways: sections at some stage got mixed up and the images in the headers were swapped. For instance, I had 2 different headers in sections 1 and 2. I created a section 3 with a landscape orientation. Until here, everything works fine. I added a section 4 in landscape mode as well and inserted a 4th picture in the header. The image in the header of section 2 for some reason was replaced by picture 4. I removed the image in section 4, added image 5 in section 5, that worked, but in section 6, image 2 was replaced again. 😵‍💫😭

@TheEstampe there is no chance that this doesn’t work. Maybe you have ‘First page different’ activated in some sections? If so, you of course either need to deactivate that or unlink the first page AND the second page of each section from the previous onde

Hi Mary, thanks for the feedback 😊 if you use MS Word on Windows or Mac (not the online version), then everything should work fine. One thing I can imagine is, that your image is not a proper jpeg format.

Not really sure what you mean with "ghost back". Do you mean the fading of the color? This always happens in the header & footer area but that's just a visual clue from Microsoft that the content is in that area. When you open the print preview, you can see the "real" colors.

When it’s printed it will not be washed out. Word just shows it that way when the header is not active
