Are you in a creek directly across from Mashes sands boat landing or did you go around the tip of Bald point and on around to alligator point. My wife and I have a little get away place on Surf road in Panacea and we’re looking to do some fishing in that area. From google maps, it looks like you’re in a creek that is directly across from Mashes sands boat landing.

One more question. I have some Gulp Shrimp but I also have a but load of frozen real shrimp. If I let this frozen shrimp thaw out some, do you think it would be good bait for Red Fish and Trout?

Yes but the problem is pin fish and catfish. You will catch a lot of trash before catching reds and trout on most trips.
