I mean.... Bangladesh didn't really need fighter jets since its independence. Hear me out now, Bangladesh has a grand total of two neighbors it shares its international boundaries. Both these country's are economic failures and have no money. Just look at their forex reserves. Instead of spending money on the citizens they want to spend half their GDP on arms. One US dollar is 278 Pakistan rupees ridiculous and 120 Bangladeshi Takas. Pakistan has just 16 billion USD of reserves most of which is borrowed and Bangladesh has 25 billion USD. Wont last long in these times.

To take the revenge they conspired with hasina and managed to gather all main army personnel in one place and then with help of India they killed 57 army chiefs. It's known as Pilkhana genocide.
