Thanks for all the descriptions, Z. Fun little clocks... I am always amused by how small and adorable newer cuckoos sound, even if they aren't necessarily small boxes. Also, I had no idea newer cuckoo clocks use rack strike systems! I guess it would make them much easier to set though.

5:43 It would definetely be an older clock especially with the count wheel. They were used until the Regula mechanisms we know today came along, the earliest Regula mechanismed clocks I know are at least more than 60 years old. Oh and I also noticed the Freddy Fazbear plush at 7:44, I have one too lol.

The first clock is marked 25-N. The 25 signifies that it is a one day clock. The N is a code that they started in 1970. It signifies that the movement was made in either 1981, 2001, or 2021. The second clock is identified with 25-80. Which means the movement is a one day movement that was made in 1980. The last clock is your oldest clock. The count-wheel system is used instead of a rack and snail system to count the hours. Different makes did away with them but for the most part are German makers did away with the count-wheel system in the 1950s. Hope this helps. The second clock being a one day clock has two musical notes. One note plays on the half hour where the other note plays on the hour. That way the weight of the music system falls about evenly with the other 2 weights. If it only had one musical note then it would only play on the hour. If it played both on the hour and the half hour then the clock would need adjusted or the weight would drop twice as fast as the other two weights. If it were an 8 day movement (BTW is identified as a 34 on Regula movements) then the music would only play on the top of the hour. If it played on both the hour and half hour even if it has two musical notes then the weight of the music box would drop twice as fast as the other 2 weights. Hopet this helps.
