Hi! One comment and one question. First, I absolutely love that you were willing to delay the project to find the perfect space rather than just rushing ahead with making the sale - a lot of folks would say "yeah we can make this work" and close the deal rather than doing what's best for the client. Second, unrelated, but I notice HVAC vents in the control room soffit alongside a mini-split unit. I imagine mini-splits are ideal for heating and cooling since they reduce the size of holes you're poking in your isolation structure; is the other vent just to provide fresh air supply? Or is one system for heating and one for cooling? Something else? (I guess I turned that into 3 questions) Thanks for another great studio tour!

First off, thank you for the kind words about being patient with the design. That is the way that we like to operate. We would rather get things done right and make the studio the best it can be for our clients. Regarding the mini-split units, those vents are for an ERV system that allows for fresh air return since the mini split system does not do that by itself. With the number of people that come through this facility on a daily basis and the amount of time that Ryan spends in there, we needed to keep fresh air recycling. Thanks for watching!

Beautiful studio! When I was writing for Mix in LA in the 80s, LEDE was a thing. Do people even do that anymore?

Thanks, Tony! LEDE is still a thing and a good method for treating Control Rooms. I didn't know you used to write for Mix?!?

@dimoscondos I think the bigger story here is design concept and execution rather than gear. And the warm stuff is pretty far down the list in a place like this.
