You guys, the house has everything from the En Suite Rooms, High Ceilings with Square molding creating character and texture, with large windows almost floor to ceiling with plenty of natural light, true walk-in closet in the owner’s suite, but the developers ruined it with this door and walls blocking the kitchen entrance, it’s not jail/prison. Open the kitchen up, true open concept, don’t suffocate people into an enclosed kitchen, not even safe. And make the kitchen cabinets longer in height. I also noticed the bathrooms do not have double vanity sinks for his & hers, the developer should’ve added that for millions of the value. Also, these payment plans is funny, less than 2yrs? 😂😂You guys do know people pay mortgages for almost 30 years in other places. At least make these installment plans for 6-10 yes. In a pandemic 😷 and bad economy?

How can a swimming pool be at the front of a house just next to your neighbors fence and a low frontal fence, the builder might as well have called it a communal pool, also the glass side railings on the staircase isn't kid friendly, a few details weren't perfect in the kitchen, and the layouts of the bathrooms are quite funny; Nigerian architects have a long way to go.

Because I am from the west this type of development is what I am used to; the only thing that is missing is a sidewalk. Also people from the west would prefer a pool in the back for privacy, or at least a higher wall in the front for privacy.

I love your presenting it makes me happy you are very uplifting and enthusiastic...........however I’m going to be a little hhmmmmm on how I feel about the house. I love that there are so many rooms in the house, and the house is beautiful but my problem (which I find with a lot of already built houses in Nigeria) is the use of functional space sometimes. I saw the last master bedroom en-suite and everything was positioned funny, like the free standing bath was too close to the shower, and the toilet was positioned too close to the bathroom counter (how will one open the drawers as the toilet is obstructing it?. Also supposing if one isn’t too keen on some of the finishings in the house (i.e. flooring, doors, tiles and colours of built in furnishings, wouldn’t there be extra costs to change all those things to suite ones taste?. Again it’s a beautiful home but sometimes i think the developers should have the buyers in mind when it comes to choices. I would love to build a home in Nigeria but my problem would be overseeing the development as I don’t live in Nigeria. Also is the pool in the front area of the house?!?

In the last bedroom you would have to place your bed in the middle of the room. Every wall has somethin, a window, a closet, or a door so there is little space to have a queen or a king size bed. My father is a contractor so I pay attention to the layout of homes.
@TheWorldofSam4 жыл бұрын
A bed can stay next to a window though.
@indoora4 жыл бұрын
@@TheWorldofSam If it is next to the window it will block the closest if it is a full, queen, or king and it will block the window as well. If it is next to the sliding door to outside then it will block them just like it would block the closest. Trust me I looked at that room several times and the actual wall space between the wnindow, closet, and sliding doors.The bed would have to be in the center of the room or you would have to have a single bed and it would still be too close to the closet doors or the sliding doors.
@TheWorldofSam4 жыл бұрын
@@indoora it depends on positioning. But a king size bed can touch the window and not block anywhere else. There’s no problem with placing a bed beside a window. That happens all the time.
@indoora4 жыл бұрын
@@TheWorldofSam There is not enough space to put the bed beside the window, it will cover part of it. That is why I stated bed sizes to show that the architect did not take this into their calculations. The bed will always block something either a window or a door, l looked at this portion of the video several times.

@kenduzouir4 жыл бұрын
Then you are making a mistake because that half million dollars will not buy a bungalow in some parts of Lagos or Abuja, so if you think that Africa is all that poor you are deceiving yourself beside your name is not a name from Bahamas
@saeefullahmohammad14024 жыл бұрын
@@kenduzouir ah you think no muslims in Bahamas? I am not thinking Africa poor. I am making a point if I have 400 grand in my country I can build that same house here for that price. If I come outside my country to live somewhere else and spend that kind of money, there better be a better deal overall.

I think the point the person from Bahamas is trying to make is that while you can buy a house like this in say New York, for that price; due to cost of living, I am expecting to get a bigger house for that same price in Nigeria, like I would, say in Texas.

@Caution1223 жыл бұрын
My 8yr old’s opinion: “why do they have glass on the stairs? It’s so dangerous for children”. If an 8yr old can see this, what happened to the developer. So many fixtures in this house should have been offered as “Options” instead of just being forced on the buyer. Also, bathtubs are kinda redundant with 50% of western homeowners as many ppl only take showers. I can’t imagine many Nigerian homeowners having a soak bath over a lovely rainfall shower that allows your dirt to runoff.

I have been noticing that these houses waste so much space on bedrooms and living rooms but toilets and kitchens are most times not adequate
@indoora4 жыл бұрын
@@eaglette3 Personally I think the space in the living rooms and bedrooms is fine because I am from a western country and what I am seeing is standard. I completely agree with you about the toilets and kitchens when it comes to style and layout. I saw a lot of dead space in the bathrooms and there is not need for a window in a pantry. I also fee the lighting g in 99% of the homes shown is not practical or adequate. They all have spot lights (fixed in one place so that the entire room is never light) and broader lights(that one light the walls and nothing in the center of the room). That is a waist of money and time to install these types of light.
