beautiful plot and build, but the decor is horrendous. The bathrooms look like something from an out of date B&B. The rest of the decor and fixtures look cheap and something I'd expect a developer to put in to a £200k house .....

I agree with you, although sometimes it's nice to look at a 'lived-in' house instead of one that feels like a museum. That wall between the kitchen and that useless front space should be removed and the ensuites are terrible. Outdated and no sense of luxury. I'm 6'5 and those showers would be murder. Of course, the outside is very nice, although I'd cover the pool.

This new house with an old traditional design is better than many of the new modern open plan houses you usually tour. They can be a bit samey. Sometimes the older style is better than the newer style.

So, after the Huf Hause in Tenby this is my next favourite property. And you both seemed so excited to be there, lol. Even given the acres of grey everywhere it wouldn't take much imagination to add splashes of colour, i.e. accent walls, jazzy art work. LOVE the colour scheme in the kitchen. And that feature wall of windows, wow, grand indeed. Yet the place doesn't scream opulence or gaudiness like some multi-million properties do. Also, there's plenty of land far apart enough from the property to use for business purposes, maybe a small organic crops/nursery-cum-garden centre, assuming planning permission would be allowed. Well done M&S.

Lovely gardens, swimming pool etc but the house was awful. Too many odd shaped rooms! What is that monstrosity where gym is? Like a church gone wrong - and double height! It ruins the main house, which looks good from outset. Views etc great but far too quirky for many.

Very strange house. I dont like the rooms layout at all. They do not make sense. What is that small room off the kitchen? Why not add add all that space to the actual kitchen? The kitchen has expensive appliances and finishes, but has no easy flow of use. And why all the gates? The property feels very choppy and not planned well.

Oooo, I love this property! The vintage inspired architecture is really easy on the eyes, and really suits the landscape. And I love how the owners incorporated little vintage details (like the window panes, handles, etc) to really warm up the modern interiors. ~ off to buy some lottery tickets now!

Hi Matt & Summer! You're firing on all four cylinders and never disappoint. Great property and love the scenic location with swimming pool and tennis court, however the interior of this property could do with some sympathetic modernisation and best use of space. As one of your subscribers mentioned, the bathroom decor looks somewhat tired, and similar to an outdated B&B. I agree with that comment. Keep up the good work guys. Juliet from London.

Strange house. Dick Turpin wouldn't be out of place there :) Amazing how convincingly they've made it look old if it's only 15-20 years old. Reclaimed brick maybe? Would not be my first choice at that price point. Strange how exotically expensive these houses are at some distance from London. 6 million pounds is not a small amount.

It's so, so interesting to see the differences in people's tastes when it comes to houses (especially in the comments sections of your videos!) - so great that you cover both the super modern, the older/ more characterful properties, and then also something more in-between like this. Absolutely loved it! The large windows surrounded by flowers and wisteria on the back of the property are just gorgeous. Personally I far, far prefer this more characterful style house to the super modern. The kitchen was gorgeous! I would love it if you could tour some houses more in the Cotswolds area/ Bath area as in comparison to Surrey/ London, you get so much more for your money. Or even rural Hampshire/ Wiltshire. Great videos guys - keep it up!

all the showers in the home needs to be gutted... It is a great home but the Maintainance will be a pain. The kitchen also needs a complete makeover. The only that would remain when i'm through is probably the stove.

That totally depends on location, much the same in the UK, this is within commuting distance to one of the biggest trading centres in the world, would it be the same price if in same proximity to NYC or LA? You're talking about places like Kansas or Alabama (or where I live, Minnesota) Think before you make sweeping statements, also look at a map once in a while.
