Like the new editing style, frame sequence, background song, etc. A fresh take than the usual calmness.

Very thorough tour. Nice blend of interior and exterior shots. A beautiful new piece of classic modernism. Very nicely done episode.

My favorite style of homes have an internal courtyard. Love how this home has the balance of embracing the views but also providing privacy.

Giant box. Looks like a hotel or commercial building. Another soulless glass and concrete construction with a wood veneer. More money than style on this one.

I quite like that style, it's functional, simple and minimialistic at the same time sleek and clean. The earthy color palette paired with the wood facade and rooftop garden makes it blend into the beach much more than what your soulless glass box description denotes to

Would be nice to actually see the homes and not just the sponsored aspect. Disappointed that this channel is going down this path.

When you The thoughtful and distinctive connection between the outdoor and indoor spaces is remarkable. The play of lights and shadows both inside and outside the house is truly impressive. 🤍

Looks like the place faces West. So really it is just a dark most of the day then being blinded by the sun from 4pm onwards.

I loved it! To me, it's a perfect example of modern architecture with the use of raw concrete and timber that doesn't look brutalist but soft and inviting and blends so perfectly with its environment. The colors and landscaping is perfectly matching colors of the beach and surrounding vegetation. And I loved the creative ways the architects were able to allow for privacy with those screens and yet also frame those gorgeous water views. We didn't get to see enough of the interiors, particularly the kitchen and bathroom areas, but the outside looks great.

Agreed, and there’s a completely unforgivable music edit at 3:45. I noticed that the music beds are more “chaptered” on this one. Maybe they’re trying out new things with the music beds.

Beautiful house. But I know from experience that a roof top terrace is not getting used so much. Too far away from the kitchen.
@serpserpserp7 ай бұрын
To counter that there is a full BBQ setup you can see with what looks like an outdoor kitchen. But I agree it really doesn't add to the building. Too hot in the summer and way too cold the other 9 months of the year.

Wow, this is truly a gorgeous design! The facade is so balanced with sensational window placement. The views are breathtaking and the space that was created with the courtyard and the rooftop viewing space is amazing. The automated shades on the exterior compliment the facade very nicely while not obstructing the view of the bay. Thank you for sharing this astonishing design with us Local Project and I'm excited to see what is next!

Awful design - out of scale, relating badly to nearby properties and the landscape. Uninteresting use of materials and light. The courtyards and external areas are merely sad. The house achieves nothing of interest. It celebrates only the client`s dreary ego.

I thought that initially then I saw that all the houses along that beachfront are just massive monstrosities. They are just trying to keep up with the Jones. But adds absolutely nothing to the environment. Just another giant box.

I'm not a big fan of the new editing style. Choppy glimpses of the homes. Focus on the chatter rather than really getting to see what the homes are all about. Glimpses just don't cut it.
@GraemeChapman-d6z7 ай бұрын
Why would you make a house so large? It’s clearly environmentally irresponsible to build such a large decade house. Architects should definitely know better.😢
