Imagine how close this missile was to launching during the cuban missile crisis 😬😰

Nice video! One inaccuracy, Titan II is 103 feet tall, not 105. Great weapon system, hard to work with sometimes but rewarding. Major Mark Clark, USAFR Ret, senior DMCCC at MCAFB and LRAFB from 1984 to 1987.

Accidentally came across a titan 2 missile silo around the tucson area, everything below initial entrance was flooded, computers were gone, was about a foot of dirt on the main floor not allowing blast doors to be opened, which were damn near 2 feet in thickness. always wanted to go back and pump the water out.

Do you have a more exact location? There's another abandoned one I'm checking out that is apparently fully open near Oracle.

I'm thinking that he didn't say it quite right. He may be talking about the three states where these Titans 2 missile sites are but yes, there are way more than 3 Titan 2 sites. Also laughed when he said "once you pay for admission the tour is free"... Say what now?

When you give a gift it shouldn't be with the expectation of getting something in return, mostly.
