Inside a historic DC fire station that's among the last of its kind

Interesting stories surround D.C. Engine Co. 3, which is responsible for protecting landmarks including the Capitol and Union Station. I really hate the fact that the Mayor allowed this city to be modernized, instead of just renovated! The least they could have done was made it a law to where the new modern buildings has to be built to match the existing structures. That would have at least kept the old historic feel to the city. I hate the mixture of old and new, and im a fan of old, anyway. These newer structures has no real definition or appeal to them. They are just lazy ass structures, in my opinion!
