Steffens House by Jaco Wasserfall
We visited a magnificent house near Windhoek with its architect.
This house was designed to open onto the surrounding landscape and mountains.
It seems to float in the landscape thanks to its numerous overhangs and large windows.
The difference between inside and outside is difficult to perceive when all the windows are open.
Particular attention was paid to the integration of the building into its site. The architect's desire is not to distort it and to leave it in its natural and wild state.
It was in the company of the architect Jaco Wasserfall that we entered this holiday home with its unique architecture.
WHO ARE WE ?
We are both architects and, unsurprisingly, passionate about architecture. But it is not the only passion that binds us because since we met, we have taken advantage of every opportunity to discover new countries.
For us, architecture and travel are above all emotions. It is these emotions that we put at the center of our stories and our creations.
