Have you been to a Japanese thrift store? Have you found any hidden treasures?

Loved checking out all the synths & audio toys in Hard Offs! Could have definitely sent myself broke (or probably made a solid profit flipping gear)!
@FlipsideJapan2 жыл бұрын
They're just the best, and the fact you get a warranty on most items (that aren't junk). How'd you come across your first hardoff on your trip?
@shanecrixus16532 жыл бұрын
@@FlipsideJapan I knew about Hard Off before I visited, I did a bunch of research on second hand music gear - I'm always on the hunt!
@shanecrixus16532 жыл бұрын
I've tried to buy from their online site too, but they don't ship overseas 😢
@FlipsideJapan2 жыл бұрын
@@shanecrixus1653 damn, are there any proxy shipping services?
@shanecrixus16532 жыл бұрын
@@FlipsideJapan There are, but I think the item I was looking at sold before I got around to organising anything (this is a few years back now)

great video, would have liked to see more of the hard off, as far as the junk section, I don't see it as the junk section I see it as affordable prices 👍 😀, again awesome video

I'll make another one for sure! The junk section is my favourite too!

Great content man! :) How much do those electric guitars go? Haha
@FlipsideJapan2 жыл бұрын
Thanks! It really depends on the brand, but there are a lot of great deals on guitars in Japan! Not just in thrift shops but also on Yahoo Auction.

In the states it is called a high end pawn shop
@FlipsideJapan2 жыл бұрын
I think the only difference might be is they don't pawn items here.

Saw one on a different 🇯🇵 KZbin channel almost like same place I think in that store you can play the guitar 🎸 I thought you was going to play something instead of the store music 🎶 sounded like a key instrument . Would be looking for the old hard to find 80’s early 90’s anime that are to expensive on eBay. Saw flashback 80’s BoomBox Portable Radio 📻 to my cousin had one . 👍🇯🇵📸🎸
@FlipsideJapan2 жыл бұрын
Yeah you definitely can play the instruments in store, I've had a go on the guitar a few times there but they're always out of tune! Which 80s/90s anime should I be looking out for? I'll have a peak and try to get some in the next video.

@@FlipsideJapan If they have the Original Robotech Movie just see different parts on KZbin the live version. And any of anime that’s on Crunchyroll including the original Conan the Detective now it’s on Blue Ray . Any Original Clannad merchandise including figures.
