Inside a Landscape Architect’s Home on Top of a Hill

Architect Jason Buensalido, Chief Design Ambassador of @BuensalidoArchitects , worked with landscaper Bobby Gopiao to create a home that was sensitive to its surroundings. The hill on the property proved to be the prime spot for the house as it offered magnificent views. The home features a welcome pavilion made of Piedra China and lush, tropical gardens.

I'm out of words.... this is one of the most beautiful houses I've ever seen. Also love the concept of allowing the nature to take control and adapting to it. Most of the structures nowadays are quite invasive that they simply don't go well with the natural landscape. This house is exceptional in a very organic way. ❤

Wow! I love the aesthetics of the house. It’s out of the typical Filipino Spanish style house. The feels of the house looks like Thai Modern. It is so asian. The ambiance of the house really fits well to the surrounding gardens. I love the Garden Landscapes first time seeing this kind of garden in the Philippines within the house. Most big houses I have seen never have this kind of Garden. Tropical Lush Garden.

❤️❤️❤️ this house and especially ❤️ the idea of “micro moments “ as you walk through each space. And the pops of red in the kitchen was very unexpected and made me very happy. The landscape is unique and very visceral for me. There is a house in Big Sur CA that is a piece of art in and of itself, much like this one. It was designed with natural materials and the dance of nature moves gracefully through each space. I just love these types of houses. Thank you for sharing your beautiful home with us!
