Friends of mine used to live in this place back in 90 s, when it was an old beach shack. I spent many a day and night chilling out here I remember sleeping in garden under the stars and listening to the waves. The Gold Coast was an amazing place back then, how lucky I was that this was my stomping ground.

As a bloke that lives on the gold coast, this is the more budget friendly type of house suitable for a couple or a couple with one child. And although its close to the water this area is prone to theft, break and enters and car theft.. Get big dogs(even though big dogs are frowned upon here, or get a really good security system but just remember that a security system doesn't stop criminals it only takes there photos after there gone.

It’s a renovation of a 50’s shack so they have not made it to over the top in keeping with its true meaning. Its paired back and beach. Quality is just fine. It’s nice to see different types and priced houses.

Loved it. What a place to wake up in, stunning .. If I had one complaint was the main bedrooms bathroom .. Sure it would have been better sealed off from the bed .. ya sat up in bed and having breakfast with your better half . Great channel but I think it would be far better to focus on brand new houses/flats up to £400k . Why? Young or old 1st time buyers /people on low incomes are the people who want to own their own property. By focusing on lower priced homes they will be able to see what the can get now instead of wasting their time dreaming about $£1million + homes.

I know this area very well, been driving past for 30 years, there's one thing I just don't understand.. architecture should work with practically,, this house is right on the beach, the beach provides lots and lots of wind, that blows lots and lots of sand and Salt throughout your property, this house is the only house, that has a carport apposed to garage, unless you have a hire car that you don't care about, your precious super car is going to rust out like stage 4 Cancer. One final thing on the Carport,, and this is the architecture VS practicality part, make the Carport full hight, not angle, how the fk.. are your going to park any high roof car with say surfboards or water craft on the roof, with that useless low angle.?? Plus crime is rife on the GC, garage should be built as a default.
