Honestly, I can’t get enough of your channel. I only found it very recently (it was recommended), and I’ve watched most all of your videos already. You genuinely can’t make a bad one. The farthest I’ve ever been able to travel was Canada during family vacations across the US when I was young. And my situation now won’t allow for distance travel, so your videos truly help me feel like I’m getting away for a bit (and getting out of my head). Thank you!! I’m addicted, obsessed, whatever you want to call it - lol. All the best to you and your family! ❤️

Hi Nicki and Carlo, my mother has loved the Amalfi coast ever since she and my father first went on their honeymoon in the early 70’s. Every time they returned to Naples visiting dad’s family, they always made sure that they returned. Five years ago mum was diagnosed with a degenerative neurological disease, it has progressed quite quickly and she is now wheelchair bound, so even before Covid-19 travelling to that heavenly place you call home became impossible. We have found your channel and I just wanted to thank you so much for all your hard work and allowing mum to walk those 500 plus steps with you. It makes mums day when she see a new post and it makes mine knowing that she has something to look forward to. Thank you both for making lockdown with a lot of health issues a little easier.😘

You just managed to hit one of my guilty pleasures. Don't know why I called a guilty but anyway, I love, love, love a grocery store. when I'm at the grocery store I am a closet people watcher to see what they're putting in their carts. Thank you so much for taking us grocery shopping with you. I love to see what's available where you are. Hello to Carlo and Skye and all the furry kids. Love from Texas.

Hello to you all - I just watched a video you made Nicki in August about the fires when you came out in the morning. A few hours later Luca was tending to the tomatoes and when he put them on the table I noticed slices of lemon on the other side of the table (I think they were lemons) and wondered what you are using them for. Not sure if you were drying them perhaps like apricots? You're channel is definitely addictive. I try to watch others but I'm consistently going back to yours. You have such a natural talent Nicki and your voice is very soothing. I think you've become a star vloger. You and Carlo and Skye et al have certainly made many people happy with your videos. I don't know if you all realize what an impact you're making. You are all exceptional people and we are very fortunate that you are showing us how you live. I actually feel privileged that you are letting us all into your lives.

Lady that works in this shop is so lovely, she managed to get us little tubs of delicious cherries in early June. Delivery was also a made staying on the mountain much easier. We stayed in Via Liparlati very close to a little Church (St James?). Enjoyed joining the local ladies there on a Friday evening who were saying the Rosary. I must say it was one of the highlights of our Italian trip. The calm atmosphere in the Church and the comforting voices of the women reciting the entire Rosary was so spiritual and beautiful!

Nicki and Carlo, It has been a difficult and disappointing afternoon and evening here in the United States of America. Most of us Americans have been watching the news all day, feeling quite upset about the events taking place in our capital and the domestic assault on our democracy. I knew sleep would not come easy tonight with so much on my mind, but have been comforted by immersing myself in your daily routine before I close my eyes to sleep. Thank you for the much needed diversion and the reminder that life is made up of simple pleasures. ❤

Short story; a few years ago I took my Aunt to Italy - she was afraid to try anything with a tomato sauce due to severe heartburn. I told her it wouldn't happen because Italy's fruit and veggies don't have all those chemicals the U.S. does ..she tried it & was amazed she did not get one single heartburn during the 2 weeks we were there. My dad had a small Italian grocery store, catering to immigrate Italians for 29 years and he knew every one to the children and grand children. I usually visit the big box stores like Costco once a month but I still prefer to store at the small neighborhood grocery store every 4 days for fruits, vegetables, dairy and bread. I love the concept boutique foodie store that have unique products from all over the world even thought I migrate mostly to products imported from Italia! Great segment Nicki!

So exciting to see all your new followers and their comments! They are finding out what we’ve known all along, you have the best vlog/channel on KZbin! 😁 I loved the grocery store shopping! Glad they will deliver! The pig feet and lentils for the new year sound similar to our southern tradition in the US...I’m originally from Mississippi and we cook black eyed peas with a ham hock or chunk of ham and put a “cleaned” penny in the pot! Whoever gets the penny will have an extra good year!! Your lentil recipe looks delicious, I’ll have to try it! ☮️ and love 💕 from Michigan!!

You solved my dinner problem tonight! Making pasta and lentils, with the wrong sort of pasta of course! :)

It’s lovely to have a helpful friendly grocer to deliver your shopping. It’s wonderful that you gave a good community around. Which makes life easier. We have seen you generously give sauces, veggies, juice & eggs to your neighbours & they in turn return the favour with cheese, wine & olive oil. I simply enjoy watching your vlogs. Thank you.❤️

This grocery store reminds me of the grocery shop in small neighborhood in Rome while i was holiday in 2018. The owner was kind enough to choose the good grapes and other fruits for me and we communicate in “sign language” 😀. Love the moment, wish i can visit again Italy after the pandemic.

I live in the USA and was raised in the 'South' and our tradition is eating Black Eyed peas on the New Year..to ward off bad luck...so, good luck in the year is the intention.

I grew up in the south too, and we ate turnip greens for $$$ and black eyed peas for coins.

@@clarefriend1376 Exactly!!!! For us it was collard greens. Every collard green you ate on New Year’s Day, was one dollar more than you made last year. Same goes for black-eyed pea’s and coins. Cornbread was for good luck in the new year.

When my husband even imagines that walk that you have to take up and down to get from your house to the little village, he has heart failure. I love it and I love the little store you went to. Its very impressive with all the good looking fruits and vegetables. I love the little family stores and enjoyed shopping in them when I was stationed in Germany. Very Quaint ! We also had a man that had a horse and wagon filled with vegies and fruit, quite the sight indeed. He would ride around the village of Ramstein every Saturday morning about 10:00 ringing his bell for the folks to come and buy from him.
