Today, I just talked to a broker for the first time and with a loan officer about homes in Maryland. They told me a rough estimate of what I can be approved for which is 375k. I then see the homes presented to me at this price point in Maryland and the homes are so bad. I looked at your videos on homes in Texas and it is a whole of difference what you can get for your money down there in Texas. I need to pray about what to do with my family since I have an 8 month baby boy and his future. Perhaps I can work, save more money for a bigger down payment and see what options are available but I am not happy with my choices my broker gave me. It was so disappointing and buying a house is the biggest purchase of your life so I do not want to rush it.

Odd, on the builder's website, this house is listed as "sold" (updated map on 6/24/22). That was over 2 months ago. This is nice looking house, but I am not sure I would call it ultra-luxury. For example, I don't see any intricate crown moldings. There are baseboards, but they are simple and plain. The curved staircase is nice, but it isn't freestanding/floating. No pool, spa, outdoor kitchen? Well, I guess they can be added later on. At least it has 10' ceilings, but that is becoming quite common these days. The 4-car capacity in 2 garages is an important feature needed for a luxury home. That allows space for 2 daily drivers (his and hers) and 2 secondary cars (or kid's cars). Hmm, I can't figure out where the formal dining room is...please tell me it isn't next to the entrance in front of the staircase. Oh, I've never heard a toilet called a "water room". I think the guy who said that got it mixed up. He probably meant "water closet" which I have heard quite often, especially abroad.

Yeah, the kitchen installment is nice and master bathroom but other than that the house is just plain white walls everywhere essentially. Its very impressive on the outside but inside, not much different than a $400k house.

The placement of the staircase is my least fav part as it cut those rooms in half plus the stairs needed a little more pop as it’s a focal point when you walk through the door. Just my take but besides that I like the home. Very nice.
