With the current work from home situation, this could be the best home + office setup we’ve seen so far. We love the 6 metre ceiling and usage of vertical space for a cosy sleeping area. Wow, finally something that isn’t centred on aesthetics/ ID themes but designed w function in mind. I like the closing comment by the designer about how a good design instigates change! Best vid to date. Keep up the great work introducing such gems to us!

Good point! We really liked the smart and functional planning of the space. You can see the amount of thought that went into the planning - something an architect would think about as opposed to actual homeowners, so it's really interesting to get their insight on how they planned their space 😀

I love this! ❤️ Esp the soothing colour palette, neat demarcation of the 2 diff types of spaces, smart use of space to fit all in a 3 room flat as well as the tall ceiling height 👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼

Glad you love it! It's a really smartly designed space - not just aesthetically, but practical too to function as both an office and a home. The best part is that it made full use of the space, especially the loft, despite being just a 3-room flat! 😀

I really like this space, it's very cleverly designed and seemed super functional. I also love the art on the walls and how it has been professionally framed. Especially the one with the tree shadow on the building that is nicely asymetrically framed. I look forward to seeing more work from this duo, please feature them often!

I love how this video is presented. In an architectural space planning use. It's not the normal interior design approach. ;). Interesting to see concepts applied on hdb units where it's usually limited with what you can do. This is good!!

Glad you liked it! We really love their thought process behind the space, and like you, it's uniquely designed for their use and not just any other interior design concept slapped on a unit 😂

How come HDB got such high ceiling?
@StackedHomes3 жыл бұрын
Hey! Yes there are, like those with slanted roofs that you see - these are special units. There're also units built specifically with high ceilings such as the loft units in Punggol or in Queenstown.

I am not sure why an architect is needed for a HDB renovation works which can be easily done by an in-house interior designer in a HDB-licensed renovation company, this is an overkill. Are they registered with The Board of Architects? Or the owner(s) have spare cash with nowhere to spend?
@shopgirl61833 жыл бұрын
