Thank you very much. I got here trying to figure out how a DC current is copied since it does not alternate, and thus would not magnetize a toroidal core. It converts DC to AC, and then back to DC again. Brilliant!

Hey thanks, I'm working on building a custom converter and that helped resolve some of the curiosities of how they did those ones! Mostly what I thought, output clamp tho!

Strange, it doesn't have a feedback from the secondary for regulation.

Since it is isolated converter, adding feedback would add complexity and makes the structure larger.

i did not measure it but probably 0.1mm or in that range
