I don't know why watching this made me a bit emotional.... I havn't watched a lot of his movies but I thoroughly enjoyed Sacred Games. It's incredible how much you can find about about a person through their home. His books, his little table for all his writing and meetings, his closet. Especially the fact that he could easily have called someone to organise his home before this video but he chose to keep it real. Respect!

Just a random thought - Architecture impacts people and vice-versa Didn't see a single open window in the entire house, the spaces are dark, his films also reflect the same...with an open terrace in the end, similar to his films as well, some speck of light in between or in the end..I wonder would his films be different if he was living in a space which has large windows and a lot of sunlight..hmm who knows!!!

2010 i used to live in the same building on the 2nd floor(at Versova wont name the building) and anurag sir was and still is on the 6th floor. have met Kalki mam a few times in the lift and she was soo humble. and its soo damn true that the lane to reach the building is soo small that its v difficult for a car or even a rick to pass by so u have to walk.

What a house! Anurag Kashyap 's library of books and movies is phenomenal. I think he would be one of the most fascinating folks to discuss literature with, he has read the Russians in Hindi and also English. He's read all of Kafka's written work . His knowledge of cinema starting from the early 20th century is astounding. His knowledge of Indian films is amazing. I could keep gushing. It's also sad his family life didn't work out and he regrets it.
