I lived in Manhattan for five years from 1988-1993 with my late wife Anna. We always enjoyed browsing around in Bergdorf's...usually mid week when it wasn't as busy. We enjoyed dining in I think it was called at the time Cafe Bergdorf's on the Seventh (Top) Floor...a very elegant and peaceful experience. I seem to remember the view of The Plaza and Central Park. I also remember taking my Late Mother to The Cafe...when she visited us from Canada or the UK. She enjoyed browsing the Seventh Floor where they had a beautiful Gift and Delicacy Food Section as well as Beautiful Coffee Table Books. I well remember my wife having a Bergdorf Goodman Charge Account...I think it was kind of Violet in Colour. I know she never had a Bonwit's Card...because they were in the process of liquidating when we lived there! Beautiful Video which brings back many happy memories. Thank You.💫

Thx for sharing. I remember all that too. The wonderful hand towels in the ladies salon. There is a bar now that overlooks (side view) of plaza. Miss it terribly. Now in Naples

I am genuinely surprised that you got in as far as you did. Bergdorf has a hugely successful record at stopping all other walking tours within the first 20 feet of the entrance. Congrats for simply accomplishing it. That's actually a victory over all other NY tour-walkers.

I went with my sister and her stylist to Bergdorfs, and it was in the shoe department that she found a beautiful pair of Manolo Blahnik shoes that she wore on her wedding day, Bergdorf Goodman is an amazing store...

We had a tall, gold & white Bourdoir Dresser, from Bergdorf Goodman, at our Golden Beach place, in Boca Grande [FL]. I gave it to a neighbor, after Hurricane Charlie, in 2003. Loved it. Kept it for 30 years.

In this big store's.. If there is a bazor / bell in all tables / areas.. The customers and the sales team will more comfortable and happy.. Anyway if you can inform the store.. Stores...they are more happy and comfortable..
