I am 72 years old and grew up listening to Elvis and watching him on TV. The first time I saw Pastor Bob Joyce I knew it was Elvis and my mind has never changed .I love Elvis but I also love Pastor Bob. It is my wish that someday before I die that I can go to Benson and meet him and enjoy a Sunday service with The church. I will keep him in my prayers and rejoice that he is doing The Lords work.

I’ve been, once, I am coming back!!! I’ve never been more moved by the power of God then the day that I sat listening to Pastor Bob preach! And his congregation, all his congregation are the most loving, warm, welcoming people! I got there at 9 o’clock in the morning and didn’t leave until almost 5 o’clock that day! How can that be possible when Bob Joyce doesn't even look older than 67 or 68 years old and Elvis would be almost 90 by now.? There is no way Bob Joyce is even in his 80's let alone pushing 90. No way...unless he's had plastic surgery but he doesn't look like he's had plastic surgery. His voice is different than Elvis too. And his voice is not the voice of a 90 year old. We should all be worshipping God. Not idoluzing an Elvis look a like.

Ok.. so here is the deal.. I know how hard it is to believe that Elvis is still alive. But to be alive and to be a preacher too. Now that is going to far right? Well NO. Not if you remember how much he loved God and how he was raised. Pastor Bob is preaching because he was raised to love Jesus. Elvis and Bob have that in common. Here is the real issue that people have. To believe that Elvis is still alive means that you have to WAKE UP to the real reality of things. Not everything you see or hear is true. Most people are happy just living in a dream world of false reality. Waking up when you are enjoying your sleep is not fun. Just try and wake someone up sometime when they are really tired and sleeping well.. You may get a black eye. So it's ok. No hard feelings here. You can believe what ever you want. I chose to wake up and live in a different reality. One where Elvis never died because he wanted to actually live. Elvis had no life. He was a prisoner in his own home. He couldn't even go to the store without being mobbed. People tried to tear his cloths off his body. He was never able to be himself, he had to always be Elvis. Well he put Elvis to rest in 1977. He died so that he could live. Now after all this time, he wants the world to know that He didn't do this only for personal reasons. He did it because he had no other alternative. You see Jesus said.. "If you loose your life for my sake you shall find it." Elvis needed to get away from Elvis and become a regular man so he could concentrate on Jesus and heal. Elvis was under a tremendous amount of pressure. People idolized him as if he were a god. But there is only ONE GOD! Elvis is not him. God is God and man is man. We can not keep on idolizing men and women. We need to only idolize God. If there is anything in this world that Elvis would love to do, that would be to come back to the public eye as himself and re start his music, preach the gospel and just be BOB. Can we get a big Amen for Bob? Let me tell you something.. I sure wouldn't mind giving this wonderful man my blessing.. He sure does deserve it. After all he still is the greatest singer in history. The "King Of Rock n Roll" .. But in reality he is just a regular man like you and me that loves God and Music. Give him a chance folks. He has a message that will knock your socks off and potentially save this stinking world.

@@moses5161 there’s a big difference between loving and appreciating someone and idolization. Never in my life has ever thought Elvis was any higher than God. I agree with you on everything you say, but just because somebody loves someone and their music get you through the worst kind of childhood and you continue throughout your life still loving this person and I’m not saying in love, just playing love and appreciation. That doesn’t mean you idolize put them up and kneel down to them. No that’s not me some people collects Seaglass or brass candlesticks or hats that doesn’t mean that that they idolize that it’s just their thing. Elvis is help me through a very bad trauma growing up. Brother Bob, Pastor Bob has helped me spiritually heal and get past the trauma that I have had since I’ve been an adult. I have never met a person that ever thought. Elvis was bigger than God. There’s many people labeled a king Elvis didn’t like that label. It’s crazy if someone thinks any other way. And I would hate to think that if I do not love Elvis. I would’ve never have known about Pastor Bob. And you’re right Elvis passed away August 16, 1977. I was nine years old. i’m very thankful very thankful to be able to experience being in his church several homes and very blessed. God made me away. Love and hugs.

She was the choir leader in our church.. she listen to his gospel music more than the rest.. my moms sister and her brothers wife tried to see him in concert, with no luck. The only pastor who actually has a security detail surrounding him. Who are these people.... secret's service or paid security? I have head about these strange men from more than one person who went to Joyce's Church when it was in the Strip Mall next to a Citigo Station.
