I have had the good fortune to be able to see a number of these magnificent timepieces. They are truly beautiful and the complex movement is something remarkable.

BOVET - Truly Elegant, Truly Swiss Handcrafted. Love Bovet 🤩

I can listen to pascal all day... he sound like an enlightenment... Bovet is my inspiration to strive... how could someone buys a company in 2001 at the age of 38 which is not very young, managed to design a watch this great with no background of early education in watchmaking? This guy is insane
@robdeskrd5 жыл бұрын
How could a man at 38 buy company and be successful? I bet being rich from a family helped a lot. Not to be a slight to the man but the major difference between him and many other people is he was born rich. Between good schooling, a waiting position in the family law firm and, the many inevitable conventional/social connections to other rich people who were born rich, it basically means unless you are generally incompetent, choose to self destruct or, suffer a vast personal calamity you will be financially successful...... I do admire these watches but it would do the world a lot more good if extremely wealthy people put more of money back into civilization rather than $30,000 watches & $50,000 - $100,000 suits to go with the collection of $250,000 and up cars and the collection of $10,000,000 and up houses.

@@robdeskrd There are many rich people in the world, but only a few would be able to do that. Even just listening to this guy you can tell he is extremely passionate about watches. No matter how rich you are or how hard you work it is not possible to create timeless art pieces without passion and creativity. If you want to talk about business you should be looking at MVMT watches. This is art.

@@robdeskrd Phhhhttttttttt.......We do not know how much he & his family have & do give to Charity & good causes. Let us never forget that the desire to achieve is an inherent & desirable (not to mention admirable) characteristic of the better Soul. Without this characteristic, we would be all still living like those in the Dark Ages...

@@robdeskrd All that little self-righteous, self-serving speech to come off at the end as a envious person. Bravo. Was OP comment the one that triggered you while scrolling down the comments? Why was that? There are few things that I despise more than envious people pretending to lecture wealthy people where or how to invest their own money. Why don't *you* strive to become "extremely wealthy" so you can the live and lead by example then? Because that'd be very difficult, but instead it's very easy to give stupid, worthless opinions about "proper" wealth spending coming precisely from someone who, judging by what you wrote, has created none in comparison. How enlightening. And *I do* feel a moral obligation to call out such opinions because of how *asinine, disingenuous, and ignorant they are* , and for which I have no respect at all. *Especially* given how prevalent and favored such line of thinking is among *hypocrites demagogues and politicians on the left* . Whom I absolutely despise. *Facts are* , Billions of dollars are given back to civilization every year by "extremely wealthy people" through philanthropy, in case you didn't noticed. Hospitals, schools, universities, concert halls, world-class professional orchestras, sport facilities, stadiums, etc, all thanks to "extremely wealthy people". *All thanks to Capitalism.* Who do you think created the world-class John Hopkins hospital? And that's just *one* example of hundreds, if not thousands. So, in any case, you have no point other than, by and large, shitting on wealthy and successful folks for no real good reason other than envy and thinking that they *owe you something* (which they don't). Unless you don't consider yourself part of the civilization you seem to be speaking on behalf of and live under a rock.

@@theodoro89 exactly what I wanted to say. Creating a successful business when you start off well connected and rich etc. Yes, agreed, it is easier. But we aren't talking about business, we're talking about running an operation that is on the absolute pinnacle of the respective industry, ie. Koenigsegg for the car industry comparison. That is what's so impressive about this man!

To the admin, is there an agency that markets your watches on social media?
@Monochrome-watches Жыл бұрын
The admin would be Team MONOCHROME, and we do not represent brands or have affiliations to agents that do. Your best bet is to reach out to Bovet directly through their website or social media platforms.

You must always bear in mind that it was making cheap copies of British and German watches that gave the Swiss their start. FFs Rolex was a British company. That said Switzerland does make great watches but watch out for China, they started making copies of swiss watches but now they design their own movements and their best watches are now comparable with the Swiss at a much more realistic price point.
