I attended a public college with lots of Indian international students. They never showed up to class and never contributed to group assignments. They were too busy working 60 hours a week at their side jobs to study at all. So if these students believe they were unjustly failed, instead of focusing on these accusations, they should be showing their work and asking the public if it is really worth a fail. If I was too busy working 60 hours per week, i would not have the time to study either.

I do not have aproblem with immigrants . My problem is immigrants exploiting the system. If you come here on a student visa . You should not be allowed to work. I'm Indian and I'm pursuing my Master's in Victoria, BC. Let me tell you the folks protesting are to be blamed as well. They haven't done any sort of research before getting there. Some agent sitting out of Punjab told these folks that the diploma degree would get them a PR and thats y they are here. Its always folks from the province of Punjab and Haryana that are protesting, the rest of India doesn't care about this BS. Everyone is busy building on their skills or actually studying. I would blame the government and these kids. Its unfortunate but you'll have to head back.

As a temporary foreign worker myself, I would never have this level of entitlement. Not getting permanent residency after working here for a few years may feel unfair, but I would never blame the government. I am a temporary worker - TEMPORARY! I was once also an international student. Although I paid 4x tuition fees compared to domestic students, I would never in a million years have this audacity to claim that I saved Canada’s economy! Canada should Close down all illegal collages. Fine / Jail all the owners/investors of these colleges. For those students who had completed their course, give them at least 1-year ext on WP with the condition. Stop /deport all students at the border who are registered with these illegal colleges if possible return their fees. Make tighter Immigration and Student VISA rules and continue monitoring so that such issues don't occur. The specific country sending these students should also check the agencies that are dealing with illegal colleges in Canada. Last but not least "STUDENTS SHOULD USE THEIR COMMON SENSE BEFORE APPLYING TO THESE COLLEGES". Because your intention was not to study but permanent residency that is the sole reason you are in this situation.

Actually the guy at the end is right. It's the Canadian govt. that had the numbers. They knew what is the capacity of the infrastructure, the number of new students/professionals coming in, the existing law, and loopholes. How would the immigrants know? They will bite the bait that is given to them. You first let them come, now when the crisis happen, you blame them. The entire Indian diaspora has to take at least a part of the blame.

Government gave away free PR to 90 thousand unskilled people, through TR to PR in 2021. But now blaming the students who are actually working hard and gained Canadian experience! Everyone knows PR isn't a guarantee, but where is the fairness? I know many people got direct PR just after graduating a diploma. But now highly skilled people with Master's degree, High language skills, and years of Canadian experience ARE struggling to qualify in Express Entry.

The funny thing is all protestors are Punjabi students, and it is Punjabi business persons, not native Canadians, who are scamming and selling LIMA to Punjabi students. Yes, they carry Indian passports, but that is it. India has 26 other states, but all these students are from one state, Punjab. No point in guessing, why emigration is being promoted from only Punjab. Hugmeet enters the room! Lol! Canada should just refund these students their tuition money, and ask them to return. I mean, Canada can pay millions of CAD for Ukrainian aid, they might just fork up a few million for these students who were taken for a ride. Make it make sense, your dependent on the government here in Canada, but it wasn't the government that promised you LMIA, if its illegal don't expect our government to make it legal here for you. Not everyone is going to school and using others taxes for you. People work to live, they don't work to pay taxes for someone else to have an education. Believe it or not people that want an education, pay for education. Graduation doesn't guarantee a extended visa or permanent residence. Maybe MAYBE if your an honor student. Screw skilled immigrants as well, we can develop our own human capital. All that introduces is foreigners who want to steal our territory, hijack what we have built and weaponize it against us. Hostile foreigners will try to join policing, military, politics, etc so they can weaponize those positions of power that the civilization's creators built against them and take territory/destroy the creators. All they do is advocate to bring more of their own people over so they can take over more territory and come up with layers of excuses when the people lash back. Irish and Scots have the most red heads in their gene pool, they also have different unique non-physical genetic traits found in their genepool that's probably cannot be found in continental European ancestries. I did a two year diploma program as mechanical technician CAD/CAM from St Clair College Windsor campus in 2000-2001 in just one year. My cost was only $700 as I was a permanent resident. If I had to spend international student fees, I would never do that. It's total extortion.

Students been abused by their own community, girls are working for restaurants not been paid properly and working long hours. Boys working for truckers not been paid having hard time to pay their tuition fee and rent for living. it's sad some students are under stress. I think they should have heard seriously and definitely the criminals should not be allowed here but rest should be settled in Canadian society.
