Beautiful and timely interviews. So many reactionary anti-immigration folks miss out on how resilient, talented, and caring people can be who make it into the states from other countries. I've seen the generous spirit that Cam and Lane have shown from friends that made it into the U.S. from Ghana, Bangladesh, South Korea, and many other places. Immigration enriches the U.S. Thanks for highlighting Cam and Lane. They seem like terrific people!

Ocho ocho. 😂 That was my first thought, too. 🤣 Seriously, this actually was the most iconic Filipino American interview in sports history. It even went all the way back from October 1587 with the continental arrival of the first Filipinos in Morro Bay California to the declaration of October 2024 as Filipino American History Month in Minnesota. Pablo tells Cam’s and Lalaine’s story of love, faith and triumph over adversity so poignantly. Cam makes all of us lolos, lolas, titos, titas, kuyas and ates so proud for representing our community really well in the pro sports and philanthropic arenas. Blessings to Pablo and Cam for sharing this meaningful conversation. And for taking their shoes off in the house. 😁

Taking your shoes off is also very common among Indian families, I hate it when I have to tell people to take their shoes off when they come to my house. I find it very disrespectful. 😅
