This isn't an autopsy, it's emergency surgery! Cozmo is reassembled at 7:50 and wakes up from surgery dazed but fine! Great reference for repair in case Cozmo ever has a medical issue. Thank you!

I saw the Number P161212 on the battery during the video (a short shot), but that might help you. There is another video that actually shows battery replacement. I ended up ordering a 3.7V 400mAh 522332 Lipo Battery Rechargeable Lithium Polymer ion Battery Pack (Which looks like the right size, I hope it is not too fat) I went with 400mAh over another thiner one with 300mAh (which I believe that the original battery is a 300mAh pack.), but I always say, more is better.) Thanks for taking apart. So it's brain and behaviour is inside the app, just a few Kb of storage inside the robot itself. I think it used to store sequences of movements and face impressions. It is in some way a ioT device.The display looks like a standard 128x64 pixel OLED display. Maybe you can use a bluetooth sniffer or can download the firmware to use on a standard ESP board, that would be fun.

This is Jeri here - (my hubby's wife) - You're brilliant Kur! I let Cozmo run around a few hours every day. He has developed into quite a remarkable character! I worry about the gears though. They sound a little stressed. Don't know what to do. Also - what do you think about the treads? Did Anki get that right? His treads still look real good. This is a downfall from Anki. I asked the same questions to them and didn't get the answer I wanted in that they do not have any kind of "part replacements" nor a "repair department." thanks - Jeri
