I always loved being in Dories house, unique house. Loved the Lego town that Michael made in the basement. During holidays Dorie made lost of cookies and always gave my mom some to share, the savory cookies were my favorite.

Second you tell interesting tidbits about the recipe, love all that. You have three kitchens you are a darn lucky woman. I know what you mean about tools. I'm an old school architect and painter, drafts person. I own all forms of brushes, pens, drafting tools, and the like, sometimes just to feast my eyes on them or to hold them. I like to cook as well. I have an extensive collection of new and old copper, steel, iron, and silver pots and pans. I'm a collector. Hopefully never a hoarder. I give many things away as time goes by and I become more discriminating. Best to you.
