Wonderful video. I love how you show different cultures and customs. I learn many new things with all your videos. The lady that gave you the scarf was so nice, the church part was very interesting and looked like a beautiful place. The bread you ate reminded me of pizza crust only better. Looked delicious! Hello, Thank you for sharing. I am from Ethiopia, Orthodox as well. Basically, the Ethiopian & Eritrean Orthodox is the same thing. We always fast on Wednesdays and Fridays at least 7 hours and when fasting is over we are still restricted on the types of foods we can eat, no food that comes from animals (eggs, any type of meat, butter, cheese, etc), we can only eat food that is plant based. The people that were standing outside is because they came late (after Mass/ liturgy started) and they cannot go inside the church (disturbing). Any Orthodox can come and pray, but if your faith is NOT Orthodox or you do not accept the Orthodox beliefs, it is no point any person praying something you don't believe. They can convert/baptize and become part of Orthodox and go inside and pray and participate. Thank you!
