I remember another youtuber called Wede Maya who had a great time in this place and gave us an idea of what to expect. I think prices have hiked since then, unfortunately. Activities should've been free if u show ur tent's key atleast. Anyway, I hope u had a great time and a good bike ride, which we didnt see though.

Yes absolutely correct, the price is definitely out of reach for the locals, $ 125 dollars × $50.86 birr = $6375.50 birr. The average Ethiopian civil service employee gets paid maybe around $3,000 birr a month. I heard even buying regular food for the locals has become so expensive. Listen to prime minister Abiy Ahmed on what he said about the cost of living and food prices. I have a feeling that there is going to be a huge protest coming soon in the capital because of what is happening to the cost of regular food prices.

Yes it is though 6,442 Ethiopian birr on todays currency it might be ok for the rich but most Ethiopians are on a very low income which is even less than 5,000 Ethiopian birr per month that can't even cover the cost of basic living needs.
