@@jaredmartin7040 Um... that's a massive part of the combat and character building. If that aspect doesn't appeal to you then, no, you're not going to like a very core portion of the game. That's like saying, "I'd enjoy this bite of food if it didn't taste so disgusting."

A Story of falling in love and a journey to kids becoming adults. A story of how a introspective guy learn to love and become a leader. That intro... I became a gamer after seen that wonder Ah, the story of Squall and Rinoa! Is so beautiful that theach us how to love. A hushed game, that has many mistakes... but even so, some things make me love this game for 20 years and more! Make a remake SE, make it right. Give us more of Laguna and depth to the caracthers, a easy juction system... but keep the essence: the songs, the drama, the normal people and their fears, and the top, Squall and Rinoa. The thoughts, their fights, their hug, their promise, their love. For them, i will be here waiting for a remake. I promese.

I remember people always talking about FF8 at school, but couldn’t afford the console to get the game. Then one day my dad and I went to the flea market and he bought me one with the PlayStation underground demo. I was in tears, then I saved money and bought me FF 8. I couldn’t believe or comprehend what I was playing. All I knew it was one of the best experiences I had in a game. I know FF7 is the greatest for others, but I think FF 8 is the greatest in my opinion. Zell for life!!!

As FF VII became my favorite game back then, FF VIII was my most anticipated game ever, i was hungry for any info at all lol, and even though i still like VII more i definitely enjoyed this one a lot, it's cool to see the people involved talk about how it all came to be.

I feel you. I have the ps1/psp/ps3/ps4 normal and remaster. Both normal and remaster on steam. If i had a xbone and nin switch I'd get it there too. The game brought me a genre that I love now more then ever and ff8 is the reason for my love for any FF title main line or side story.

I am so happy about this remastered... I had the 1 out of 4 CD for PS1 and after a long quest, I found a friend who gave me all the PS1 original CDs to play! I had to return the CDs and I was so sad, but now with the remaster I can play to FF8 again!!!

Please I beg of U Square Fix the bug that freeze the screen when playing in Spanish!!!!!!! , If u cast shield magic and others In battle the screen just turn all black at the end of the fight. Happens when u face the Brothers GF and also in others fights. Forgot to mention that You lost all progress!!!

I love everything about this game except for its broken borderline unfinished battle system. Probably the least fun battle system in the series but everything else in the game is at such a high level it makes up for it. So great to get to hear the creators talk about it, I'd like to see more content like this

The sound glitches out after so long when using Angelo search. And every once in awhile when you exit back to the title menu the game stops working... just so you are aware Sony and SquareEnix. PS4PRO Newest model.
