The girl is trapped both physicaly (in the room) and mentally (from the drugs). Once a day she can express her emotions, which are incredibly strong. First it's the anger because she can't escape, then she feels sad about it. But hope dies last. Yellow are her dreams. She dreams to fly away (the balloon). When she wakes up and sees the painting she stares at it the entire day. Dreaming.

The colors represent her emotions. Red for anger. Blue for sadness. And yellow for happiness or pleasure.

This one made me tear up..how easy it is to call someone crazy just because you don't know what they are thinking.If she weren't so heavily medicated, she could have articulated what she sees and feels.Thought provoking short.

I think the mental patient is a metaphor for all of us. People see us going through different emotions everyday but very few really understand our own individual perspectives. We are often misinterpreted and hence they see us as 'batshit fucking crazy'. However, in the end, when all else fails and we finally accept reality, it's the personal emotional journey that we go through that ultimately brings a warm feeling in heart. We are glad about the things that happened because it paints a picture; it gives us 'colour' and our identity. Hence it brings out a bitter yet beautiful tear.

Chastity, sanctity, obsequiousness make your choice though through prophesy, there is imagery yet not idolatrous. Move along, come what may, you must never overstay your welcome. The council sits, in fine array Pointedly objecting to subjective sequences which may yet not eventuate. Are you here? Will you not partake in this contest of the minds and battle of the wills?
