I’ve struggled with my mental health from an early age, and always agreed with the people that said “90 minute bigots” and the rangers fan who said that you can forget your problems for 90 minutes. The guy said “every day I wake up and fight my demons, today we fight the demon” is a very eloquent way of putting how it has always been to me. Well in, this is a class documentary. It really gets a lot of the intangibles that people can’t quite put in to words when describing the derby. Good job👏

Cause they are 😂. To be a rangers fan involves rallying around archaic things like the royal family and also having a sense of entitlement just because you’re Protestant (to the extent that you will march through Catholic areas just to asset dominance/stir up hate). Celtic has always hired anyone no matter their religion. Celtic is a club for everyone. It’s a club that believes in scrutinising a corrupt establishment. Rangers are all about supporting said establishment because they are traditionally a part of it; no wonder they’re so angry and bitter as the world becomes more inclusive and more non-discriminatory.

@@Michael252-e6o Not true though. I know there are loads of decent Rangers fans but you can't hide from the history of the clubs. Rangers are a bigoted club, always have been. In time that might change, but it will probably take a long time. Here's an interesting question for ya... when Rangers fans sing "no surrender", who are they talking about 'surrendering' to? The brit-protestant majority in northern Ireland used to treat Catholics and nationalists as 2nd class citizens - that's how the Civil Rights marches started. So who are these 'loyalists' saying not to surrender to? - Oooh could it be that THEY want to portray themselves as 'victims'? Some sort of poor persecuted Brit-Gov backed minority? - lol. On the topic of the Celtics' support for Palestine, one of the most vicious and cruel groups within the loyalist force during the Irish war of independence were the Black and Tans, who were mostly ex ww1 soldiers sent to reinforce the police force in northern Ireland. After being disbanded, many of the members joined to Palestine Police Force, which evolved into the IDF that we see today. Much of the brutality and cruelty we see from the Israeli forces are directly learned from the loyalists, which gives Irish Republicans a unique bond with the struggles of the Palestinian people.
@motomartinski567210 күн бұрын
Sympathy for the plight of Arab Palestinians is justifiable. Vague anti-British history pub talk - often by seemingly reluctant British citizens (yet still resident and a suppurating minority in UK) doesn't help Palestinians - or British people. At all. Palestine PS 1921 structure comprised less than 20 British officers supported by *~50 Palestinian officers* (majority Arabs) with about 1100 other ranks and admin. (majority Arabs). The ill conceived (but popular with some powerful influential US groups) Balfour Project, nevertheless, resulted in a UK policy of _attempting_ to balance commitments to Arabs and Jews. Yes unsurprisingly🙄 Jewish officers of the previous Palestine Police Force subsequently joined the Israeli Police Force.🤷♀ But IDF The Israeli Army - primarily and overwhelmingly was managed by and formed out of *Jewish* paramilitary organizations, mainly Haganah and supporters of Zionist terror groups such as Irgun *who (like the IRA) were enemies of UK* and who had murdered both Palestinians _and_ British citizens (including murder _hanging_ two British soldiers). These were no friends of British forces. Obviously (duh!) in the chaos and Zionist ethnic cleansing that occurred very soon *after* British forces had withdrawn, various persons of Jewish heritage or Zionist sympathies that had once been part of the mixed Arab + Jewish UK (mandate) police force, were welcomed into the employ of Israeli security depts. Cruelty you say? Like an IED placed in a civilian premises to intentionally blow unarmed non-combatants into pieces that must be shovelled into bags?! Like obliging mothers and fathers to take their own sons to terrorist vigilantes for punishment crippling by gunshots?🤮 The N.I. troubles are supposed to be over mate. I doubt people like the McConvilles or thousands of others want to dwell on the brutal acts of murdering terrorist so-called freedom fighters these days.. or certain brutal reactions... Whatever their politics. And that includes sectarian football fans. So.🤨

TF? The IDF did not come from the police force, the Israeli's launched their own guerrilla campaign against us Brits and then their para-militaries founded the Israeli military. I have no idea where you got that idea, but it sounds like a convenient story to come up with some justification. Yes the Black and Tans went too far very often, and god knows there was so many wrongs on both sides - but fucking hell your not helping.
@thedemongodvlogs76716 күн бұрын
The Zionist paramilitaries that eventually became the IDF (Haganah, Etzel and Lehi), vehemently fought the British "Palestine Police", often more than the Arabs, and actually received training and funds from the IRA. Many veterans of the Palestine Police Force still regard Israelis as terrorists for that exact reason. You might want to read up a bit on a topic before getting it so catastrophically wrong.
