In the south of Ardèche, the Chauvet Pont d'Arc cave is the oldest known decorated cave in the world. Closed for thousands of years by a cliff collapse, which allowed its exceptional conservation, this cave must be preserved and will never be open to the public. To transmit and share these underground beauties, a few months ago, a stone's throw from the cave, the largest facsimile ever made in the world, the Caverne du Pont d'Arc, was born.
