Luka is the primary reason for his teammates playing well. When Luka comes out playing well early on, defenses have to cave in on him, leaving Luka's teammates more open. Also, the defenses aren't able to double Dinwiddie, allowing him to look like he did for the Nets when defenses tried to play him one on one. Luka will be the face of the league very soon. Imagine if he had 1 good all-star teammate along with 3-4 good role players...
@ImAviex
@ImAviex Жыл бұрын
I mean you def just stat watching putting Brunson in there because at half it was over because they were up by 30 and the only people with more than a bucket was Luka and Dinwiddie both with 27 and 20 respectfully. Brunson been good this series but we ain't gonna act like him getting points in garbage time is why they won, it's because Luka dominated them out the gate and then when he sat Dinwiddie carried the load.

The suns are a deeply flawed and overrated team. Good enough for regular season success but they get exposed when they have to play good teams every night. Since game three of the finals last year this team has looked very mediocre in the postseason. They struggle to get by a sub 500 zionless pelicans. They were lucky to have beaten the clippers last year. Monty is a great man and speaker. Ain't the guy as far as coaching goes. It was not "one of those nights" by any means. That doesn't just happen to a team lie the Suns. I bet what their coach was trying to say was that they let all the praises during their regular season get to their head, underestimated their opponents and got way to brash and instead of changing their game plan and staying strong, they deformed into franticness once they realized what was happening. The same thing happened the previous game, this one was just worse.

I disagree with Shaq about it "just being one of those games". They allowed 23 2nd chance points whereas Dallas allowed NONE. That's a massive massive tell that Phoenix just didn't show up to play tonight. Booker scoring 11 points and only getting his first FG with 5 minutes left in the 3rd. They shot poorly and getting down early was tough but real good teams don't give up like Phoenix did tonight. You can live with a game 7 loss, the loss itself isn't the problem cause only one team can win but to go out like that in a game 7 on your home court, that's just embarrassing and they should be ashamed of their effort.

Luka is hardly the strongest or the fastest guy on the court, but he's faster than the strongest and stronger than the fastest and he's got more intelligent than 99,9% of the players in the league today. Nightmare matchup.

The longer series is just more time for Luka to get in more shape. He's gonna be an absolute monster when he starts the season in shape and ready. JKidd's adjustments are so good. Coaching differences being seen for sure.

Shaq claiming it was"just one of those games". No, the Mavs took the Suns SOUL tonight. I don't know how you recover from this and gain respect again. The Suns fans were booing their own team at halftime. And I'm a lifetime Suns fan. This was not "just one of those games".
