I would like to say I have seen Hatzola at work and I can't commend them high enough for giving up time from family and them selves to help complete strangers when they are at their most vulnerable. I am absolutely sure they have saved lives and it wouldn't matter what race religion colour the person in need was, they would help them because they are interested in the public good. I wish there were more people like this.

Their "concept services" is to thumb their nose at the state's ambulance service and run a segregated health service based on outdated and no longer valid fears. These are intelligent people, they know that sirens and uniforms in Australia mean good people, they wear ambulance type uniforms themselves for gods sake! They are still transported in an ambulance - you can't hope for thousands of years of persecution to be removed when you maintain it yourself!

They have a better response time the concept of fully equipped volunteers responding in their cars from anywhere in the city is great in New york a woman fainted due to heat stroke a press conference they called 911 almost 30 min passed no ambulance some one finally called Hatzolah they got there in 5 min.

Dear Harry Highpants, Before making a total ass of yourself, it would have been wise to check your facts. Firstly, Hatzolah doesn't run a service "segregated" from the ambulance service or due to any "fears". We are trained and accredited by Ambulance Victoria who consider us a valuable asset. We have a cordial and professional relationship with them. We often save them from responding at all, which saves the public real money and frees the service to attend to major emergencies. As for your smarmy attempt to justify persecution of the Jews, just ask the hundreds or possibly thousands of non-Jewish patients we have attended - at road accidents and many other scenarios. If you happened to need us we would undoubtedly attend to you too, without prejudice, despite the fact that you are beneath contempt.

What's weird? The need for a specialist ambulance organisation for the Jewish Community? Or the fact that you don't understand the reason they exist? When they can get to your door faster than a crew from 000, they are far from weird.
