Come along with HMNS staffers to Seymour, a small North Texas town where the Craddock Brothers Ranch yields prehistoric fossils hundreds of millions years old.
Together with the Whiteside Museum of Natural History, HMNS coaxes dimetrodon remains from the red dirt on the ranch. The famed Dr. Robert T. Bakker makes a special appearance to add his own touch of magic to the field work.
During the Permian period, dimetrodons were the first Texans. Hearty and rugged creatures, they would pave the way for a variety of life to come.
