Actually, having women in a man’s prison is most definitely a good thing. They can diffuse situations without resorting to “hands on”, which, with men and their egos’ is usually the method most employed. Also, a lot of men find it easier to talk to a woman about problems they are having, rather than to a male screw. There are some real bully boy screws in prison who love nothing better than laying into a prisoner, women screws are an ideal counter foil in those situations. It’s been shown time and time again. On the other hand, I’m not so sure that men are a good thing in a woman’s prison though.🤔

Yep. Those American supermax prisons are hell on earth. They are architecturally designed to break the inmates. All you get in a cell is a concrete bed and a toilet. No TV, radio or books are allowed.
