Just so you know, the Indonesian letter R is pronounced as rolling Rrs, just like in the Spanish or Russian. also for BCA ATM it pronounced as "Beh Che Ah" "Ah Teh Em" so local won't confused, you can always check the pronounciation using Google translate, Enjoy Indonesia

In SCBD in general used to be more strict about recording in the area. Cause a terrorist bomb the area, and I think he took many picture of the area before he blew the street up. So camera in scbd become stricter afterward and you can see that in the mall become more strict on the bag you carried. The event is like if someone walks to wallstreet and take picture and video for the next day to plant the bomb infront of wallstreet and blew it up.

I don’t think it’s possible to control, not saying restrict filming in such areas. It doesn’t work that way) I saw hundreds of people taking pictures and filming that day, and I’m sure that it was the same before, and it will be like this in the future)

@Roman_onboard yeah but like I said it is more after the terrorist bombing, and is more like myth, thats why I said I think. Cause I do not knows for sure cause Im still a baby when the bombing happen. So treat it like local legend. Also it is like a private area, that is also why it is have a gate to the road and they could ask not to record cause technically you are in a private area, but most people that goes there and work there are chill so idk why they ask you to take your recording down. So maybe other people here in the comment who actually work there could tell the more technical reason why they ask you to stop recording. If you want more authentic area there, I do recommended block m, masjid agung al-azhar, or Plaza senayan/senayan city mall. Goes around Barito near Taman Ayodya at noon is also good to find good food.

If im not mistaken SCBD is own by the Artha graha group, but the mall pacific place is owned by other groups. If you go to the mall in indonesia built by the same company, group, or family. Usually they have similar in architecture, service, and interior and also rule and security.

Just a small guide for you to visit our Indonesia that we have 7 main Island to live n fun that was Sumatera, Java, Kalimantan, Sulawesi, Timor, Bali and Papua, except that we have a small island like Sabang, 1000 island, Riau Island, Madura island etc... In Sumatera we have Toba Lake, in Java beside Jakarta you can see many Beach in Banyuwangi , mountain such as Bromo, Semeru, Borobudur and Mendut Temple in Central Java, Madura Gate, and than in Sulawesi you can find Bunaken etc, in Kalimantan we have A new National Capital city It:s call IKN, in Mandalika you can see Moto GP circuit, in Bali there is kuta, Uluwatu, Nusa Penida, Benoa etc, in Papua you may visit Raja Ampat, i hope it's can help you to direct your Travelling, have fun Broo.....

Hi Roman, just a quick clarification: SCBD is not the same as BGC, and Jakarta is not the same as Manila. I understand that, for many foreigners, when creating videos about Jakarta, they often try to portray or frame it in a similar way to Manila. While Jakarta does have slums and kampongs, they are not on the same scale as those in Manila and certainly not situated side by side with our central business district.
